See, that's where any logic you might have sails out the window.  Here's the deal.  Ukraine is not Russia.  Russia has no right to Ukraine nor Crimea, which is just Ukraine.  Ukraine is a soverign nation.  Putin saw an opportunity to dominate over a weaker nation, so he killed thousands of innocent people to take advantage of that.  There is nothing morally right about that, and I won't support it.
