I tire of the faux outrage from everyone (this forum included). Always searching desperately for something, anything to be outraged about. The day is not complete, life is a waste.. Let us label production "wealth" - for that is what production is. 

There is more than sufficient wealth for everyone to have a good life. 

But we have tent cities galore and we have poverty galore. If the problem is not systemic, then Americans are simply illbred, unlike most of the world's population. And I find that hard to believe. I think that Occam's Razor dictates the SYSTEM is at fault - that CAPITALISM is failing America. 

I believe we need to distinguish between free enterprise - which requires no government gun - and capitalism, which cannot exist without government muscle backing it up.

Yeah, but being a grandparent is easy.  You have enough money to float you through the rest of your life.  Healthcare is free.  You don't stress out about getting fired or your boss **** all over you.  You don't have a wife who wants a new car and a 15 year old son who's going to want his own car soon.  You probably don't have a house mortgage any longer.  All you have to do is load up on dollar bills (gift cards) and candy, and other people's kids will love you.
