In high wigheean culture, the kids don't move out of the family home. They stay, adding rooms if needed. The young parents work, and the grandparents raise the kids. The parents won't raise kids until they are, themselves, grandparents. It is always the parents working and the grandparents raising the kids - or so I was informed 50 years ago. Perhaps that has changed. Perhaps it never was. But it's a great idea, whether it's a true idea or not. It's an intelligent use of respective capacities. In my Should World, this is standard practice.
