You do get extremely loyal tenants who pay rent in full  before it’s due and maintain the place like they own it.

My three homes, one from my grandparents, one from my father, and one from my mother, are immaculate.

Are there really mansions on high? I have faith there are.

I intend to find out.

When they do that, it's usually an accumulation of your home value increases over many years, not just the past two.
Can you fight it?
NOPE-  I asked her!

The forecast is 3.1% year headline inflation to year, tomorrow.

Core inflation (excluding gas and food) remains sticky, about 4%.

Most of the reason inflation is not 2% is rent inflation.

My dead ancestors are watching me, or else I could more than double the rents on the three homes I inherited from them.

If it is a decent, clean, two or three bedroom home the new rental rates start at a thousand a month.

And why?  Over a million people died from Covid, and they only need a small space in the graveyard.Image

The best theory I’ve head about why rentals doubled is, that Trump tossed out about four trillion dollars of borrowed  money to fight Covid.  Biden didn’t give away half that much, but quite a lot.

Young couples used that Covid spending on housing.

Biden pushes the inflation rate up and it slightly dips down and you are throwing a parade?

How about stop the spending and printing of money and get the inflation rate down to 1%.

We’d be good friends at my deer camp.

You’d have to listen to nostril nosed hillbilly music, but we’d sit by the fire and agree on more than we disagreed.

But we’d agree low inflation is good, growth is good, low unemployment is good, and the older bourbon is, the better.

If the headlines in fall 2024 remain steadily better, then Joe is going to reap the same benefits Reagan did in 1984.

She said the  Covid germa- phobes from outta state came up here during the covid... Bought up homes. And paid 3 times what they were worth!  It some how came  down to all the homes being re-accessed. But in reality- I doubt I would get more for mine then last year.
They'll never get their money back when this blows over. This is not a rich area. The homes are nothing special. trust me.

My property taxes went up by more than 30%.  They're going way too far.

Even Fox News reported realty. The actual numbers were slightly better than forecast:

Hunter Biden was at the top of the page on Fox, and they just love The Sound of Freedom, and did you know, that Hunter Biden is a scoundrel? You can read all about that at Fox.

 Nebraska has five  electoral votes.

——OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — A decisive win by Democrats in hotly-contested local races in Lincoln could be indicative of the party’s chances next year, including in a presidential election where Nebraska’s Omaha-centered 2nd Congressional District has twice given an electoral vote to Democratic presidential candidates. Nebraska and Maine are the only two states that allow their electoral votes to be split in presidential elections. That system has confounded Nebraska Republicans, who have been unable to force the state into a winner-take-all system since Barack Obama became the first presidential contender to shave off one of Nebraska’s five electoral votes in 2008. It happened again in 2020, when President Joe Biden captured Nebraska’s 2nd District electoral vote.

Good inflation numbers spell doom for Trump in November 2024.

There is going to be nowhere to turn for Republicans to recapture even one electoral vote.

And they’ll loose North Carolina.

And perhaps they’ll loose Iowa (over abortion) , Alaska (oil), Texas (oil), Florida (Disney) and Ohio (manufacturing).

Joe can win 400 electoral votes.

Nancy Reagan was about as much of a nut case as Hunter Biden.

But who cared when the economy booming with low inflation?

I live out in the country. The company I worked for moved me here in 1996. I like it so I stayed when they went to Mexico. Now wealthy people are buying up corners of farm fields and building mansions. I don't know who they are, where they came from or where they work but they must be from the city because they're afraid of the dark. The put up huge offensive lights that block out everything including the night sky. The county wants to "develop". It was a nice place before but won't be once they develop it a little more.

People forget.

The inflation rate under Obama and Trump was nearly a constant 2%.

Biden was in office when Trump’s four trillion dollars of Covid fighting money raised prices, and now he’s there when inflation is declining.  Biden will get the credit. It’s not fair, but life isn’t fair.

Where Joe deserves credit is in all our history no President has ever done more to ramp up production of American oil.  None even come close.

The caribou in Alaska had better start running, because Uncle Joe approved a massive oil drilling project there.:)

And while Joe blocked a Canadian pipeline he’s approved more American pipelines than ever.

He even has sold more offshore permits than ever, more federal permits in Texas, than ever.

He’s turned the American oil and gas taps wide open.

It’s been so effective Fox News has  Hunter Biden at the top of the page day after day after day.

Shame on that boy.:)

Watch Joe, have Navy Biden visit his office.

He’ll hug her stripper mother.:)

Joe is either lucky or good, but it doesn’t matter which.

The oldest of my three homes I inherited was built in 1932 by my grandparents when their old home burned.
It cost $1,800 to build. I have the original contract with the builder.  Insurance paid it all.

My grandfather died in 1952 and my Mammy died in 1960.  I’d remember Mammy if she walked in the door today and I last saw her when I was two, in her casket.

Since 1960, the rent started at $30, my mother raised it to $60, then $100, then $150, then $200, then $250, then $300, then $350, and her last renter from 2008 at $400 is still there.

I could get a thousand tomorrow, but it needs a little painting on the eves.

The price I’d get if I sold seems fantastic to me.

But Mammy is watching me.  She’d lead me out to the summer kitchen and I’d help her wash the rocks it was built from, with a bucket of water drawn from the cistern.

When I tell a story, it’s as I remember it, exactly.

My family will not have those images burned inside their memory.

So I need to outlive the poor old man paying me $400 a month for a home that was given to me, free of charge, from people who would sooner died than oppress the poor and needy.
You were a spry two year old if you helped Mammy do the laundry or a lying sixty-five year old poster.
