Why is Biden supporting the Nazis who are part of the Ukraine war?

There are a small number of Nazis in Ukraine.

If they were in America they’d be Uber MAGAS.

 Many of the National Militia's members come from the Azov movement, one of the 30-odd privately-funded “volunteer battalions” that, in the early days of the war, helped the regular army to defend Ukrainian territory against Russia's separatist proxies. Although Azov uses Nazi-era symbolism and recruits neo-Nazis into its ranks, a recent article in Foreign Affairs downplayed any risks the group might pose, pointing out that, like other volunteer militias, Azov has been “reined in” through its integration into Ukraine’s armed forces. While it’s true that private militias no longer rule the battlefront, it’s the home front that Kiev needs to worry about now.
  Since the Crimean crisis, the militias have been formally integrated into Ukraine’s armed forces, but some have resisted full integration: Azov, for example, runs its own children’s training camp, and the careers section instructs recruits who wish to transfer to Azov from a regular military unit.—-

The Ukrainian War is much like our Civil War was in Missouri.

My ancestors fought in disciplined, organized US military cavalry units in uniform and displaying arms.

We afforded regular Confederate units all the laws of warfare.  We took prisoners, accepted surrenders, and issued paroles.

Irregular southern units, Bushwhackers, were usually shot if captured alive, after a drum head military trial.

And we executed Jayhawkers, irregular Kansas anti slavery troops if they preyed on civilians.  

But if Jayhawkers fought Confederates we supplied them with ammunition.

Though, as a result, many Ukrainians continue to regard the militias with gratitude and admiration, the more extreme among these groups promote an intolerant and illiberal ideology that will endanger Ukraine in the long term. One of the best books I’ve ever read, was written nearly thirty years ago.

When the Third Reich fell it was a completely modern, capitalist nation. They had all these petty government officers, like policemen and firemen and mayors and aldermen, and power plant operators.  There were still 80 million of them.

Fifty years afterwards, a writer went to Germany who spoke German and sat down with dozens of them.

They all claimed to not know about the Jew killing.

But, they all said those Jews were pretty bad, just not bad enough to murder.

And they each one, remembered pre war Germany as a sort of paradise for the white race.

There have been many, many Trumps over the centuries, they just had different names.
