Not only did we have to memorize the entire Christ story, and I mean all of it, from the virgin birth in the manger to Mary Magadeline mistaking Christ as a Gardener, 

We had to know what a Piker was, and a Shanghai rooster, and memorize countless folk songs.

My friends sometimes ask me, if I have even the smallest proof that what the Disciple Matthew wrote about Christ preaching heaven and hell from the Mount of Olives is true, and that there really will be a Judgement Day.

I accidentally left my wallet last night in a truck stop, full of lot lizards and drug dealers and vagabonds, at 2 am.  It must have slipped out of my back pocket.

When I got home I missed it, and called.

The girl asked my name, and said some stranger turned it in, and said His friend left it.

But that’s not proof of anything but a kind, honest stranger, some random Tramp on the Street.

What's wrong with just having a conscience and living by The Golden Rule?

The true essence of that would be the bad as well as the good.
IOW:
If I personally did something horrific, I hope somebody just kills me.
Because I damn sure wouldn't feel bad if a terrible person dies for the same reason.

I absolutely agree with you.

Let’s say some boy is raised up in an all white home, his folks only watch Fox News, his school sucks because it’s a charter school, and the only religion he gets is from some charismatic preacher at a huge mega church and he gets dunked in a baptismal and glory be to Jeeee Zuuus his soul is forever saved.

He wouldn’t know the Sermon on the Mount from Joshua and the Battle of Jericho.  Could not find either if his life depended on it.

What kind of just, forgiving Savior would toss that MAGA boy in hell forever, for the same hateful stuff  like hating Mexicans and Jews and Blacks and Trannies that everybody around him hated with a passion and he doesn’t know any real, observant, sincere Christians?

That MAGA boy wasn’t blessed with a mother that taught him about Jesus, and a father that served as a perfect example of manhood.

He really had no or little chance, to walk the straight and narrow way, following the Master.

It’s not ours to judge.

But Jesus WILL judge every soul.
