I was unaware that it had to be four hours and it had to include a wife and family. I WILL point out that I had my woman with me, and the guy who owned the Tesla was mob connected, so technically, he was "family."
I made her car seat fart continuously while I admonished her for it. She slid over to the other side of the backseat, but I just made the fart noises follow her. That was a lot of fun. I don't care WHO ya are, fart humor is high brow, By the time the ride was over, she was insisting there was a dog in the car and blaming the dog. I also made the car fart gloriously and with great fanfare on a diesel pickup truck at a traffic signal. He was too awestruck to roll smoke on us. Or maybe just too broke in the Biden economy.
Okay, I will confess that your exposure to some unnamed EV exceeds my own exposure to the Tesla. Tell me what I missed that you caught, and I might withdraw my powerful endorsement, depriving Musk of a major alt-right influencer.

... the more weight within the vehicle the shorter the distance
... Recharging stations that you will wait in line to use and
... equipment that fail to charge at optimum level turns your 4 hour drive into a 6-7 hour drive ...
,,, After a nice meal and finding that you still need more time to recharge ... increases the tension and frustration levels of children and wife ... just not worth it ...

Should you have all the proper equipment. you may be able to conduct a "fast charge" ... everything working properly would take around 30 minutes and produce about an 80% recharge ... (I will admit my experience with "fast charging" is limited ... but I have never watched a "fast charge" duration be just 30 minutes)

Will they stop wind farms being the cheapest way to generate new electricity?
Can they ever stop people from buying electric vehicles that are three to five times cheaper to operate?’
Can they possibly drill for more oil than Brandon, or spend more on the military, or on infrastructure?
Can they un invent Tesla Fast Chargers and Tesla plugs?
Hell no.
They can give those needy rich people more government goodies and tax cuts, but that’s not evil, just expensive.
