Camela Harris' approval ratings are even more abysmal than Xiden's. Being the first black/Indian vagina raised in Canada means absolutely nothing. That’s the reason for Kamala Harris.
She’d become the first black woman President.
And it would break those MAGAS from sucking eggs, for sure.
But while I don’t love Joe, I like Joe.
More than enough to vote again for him.
Who knows the percentage of decent, thoughtful, neighbor next door type Republicans.Warcok » 16 Jul 2023, 10:05 pm » wrote: ↑ Camela Harris' approval ratings are even more abysmal than Xiden's. And It's your right to vote against your best interest. Millions of *** do it every 2-4 years

Some Hemis get a tick and mine so far hasn’t.
This is the last year for 300s and Chargers.
By 2028 Chrysler (Stellatis) will be all EVs.
We will likely lose some range. But I fill up at about 250 miles today. And a young man with a wife and brats might go no more than 150 miles until he has to stop.
As marvelous as my Hemi is, it’s about 20% efficient.
As good, quiet, and reliable as it is, there’s pistons and valves and camshafts whirling and a crankshaft turning a transmission and a driveshaft and then a differential.
An electric motor spins an axle. It’s three times or more efficient, and I’d suppose ghostly quiet.
The MAGAS will line up to buy electrics the same as us.
They are already better. When they are cheaper new (and they should be-no drivetrain to build) nobody will ever miss buying gas.
Thank you for your sharp lookout, good citizen.Sumela » 16 Jul 2023, 8:43 pm » wrote: ↑ You didnt post that....you looked at a pic of an 11yo girl.

LMAO. This sock homo is still try to pass himself off as hetero.
Last night 87 octane unleaded regular cost $3.13 a gallon, and a four or six cylinder car can easily get 32 miles per gallon on the freeway. That car runs for ten cents a mile on $3.20 gas. You can buy one for $32,000.righteous » 16 Jul 2023, 10:19 pm » wrote: ↑ YOU CAN GET OUT AND PUSH IT UPHILL TOO.
LAST YEAR FOR CAMAROS AND VIPER.
BOTH REPUBLICAN AND LEFTISTS ARE ANGRY. THEY SEE BEING FORCED TO PURCHASE AN EV THAT MANY CAN'T AFFORD, AS AN ACT OF TOTALITARIANISM, AN UNNECESSARY RELIANCE ON ELECTRICITY WE AREN'T PREPARED FOR. AMERICAS ELECTRIC GRIDS ARE NO WHERE READY TO HANDLE ADDITIONAL POWER DRAIN. THE GREEN NEW DEAL IS A BOGUS AGENDA FOR NEW GLOBALIST MONEY MAKING START UPS.
FOSSIL FUELS AND MINERALS UNAVAILABLE IN THE U.S. ARE NECESSARY FOR THEIR PRODUCTION.
THERE WILL BE MAJOR BLOWBACK FROM AMERICA OVER THIS EVIL AGENDA
EV'S ARE GARBAGE. EXPLOSIVE BOMBS. NOTHING WILL EXTINGUISH IT FROM FIRE. VEHICLE IS TOTALED. NO SAVINGS WITH RISING ELECTRICITY COSTS. BATTERY REPLACEMENT COSTS IN EXCESS OF $6,000 AFTER 7-9 YEARS.

The price has to come down a good 30%, they need to charge much faster and there needs to be an awful lot more charging stations.
Agreed.michaelf » 17 Jul 2023, 11:07 am » wrote: ↑ The price has to come down a good 30%, they need to charge much faster and there needs to be an awful lot more charging stations.
Well see...I'm not set up well for charging overnight at home. Car lives outside and we need two vehicles. Only have 100 amp service for the whole property and I'd need electrical work before I could plug in much of a charger. Can you imagine running charge cords across the yard every night, especially in the dead of winter? No thanks. Not to mention that the power goes out every time the weather gets a little rough. Do I use my gas generator to charge the two cars? I'll have to get a bigger generator and keep a lot of gas on hand.Bruce » 17 Jul 2023, 3:16 pm » wrote: ↑ Agreed.
But 99% of those EVs are not going to need a quick charge.
All gasoline cars, need a public gas station.
The EV gets charged every night at home.
The only EVs at the public charging stations will have traveled nearly halfway past their safe range.
And as for cost, the car itself is basically unchanged for thirty years.
What an EV does is substitute a battery for a gas tank.
Then instead of an engine, transmission and drive train, they stick an electric motor (or two) on an axle.
Once the customer ever gets his first EV he’s never going back to gasoline
Those gas cars will last for a good twenty years after the last one is built. But nobody will want one. As they break down nobody will repair one.michaelf » 17 Jul 2023, 4:58 pm » wrote: ↑ Well see...I'm not set up well for charging overnight at home. Car lives outside and we need two vehicles. No. Build them to take a full charge in 5 minutes or so and I will NEVER charge at home.
Time of use billing isn't anything new. If you have much industry in the area the electrical grid is busier than you think at night. I've never seen TOU billing available for residential though it's common in industry. I've never seen a meter that'll handle anything like TOU on a house.Bruce » 17 Jul 2023, 5:15 pm » wrote: ↑ Those gas cars will last for a good twenty years after the last one is built. But why you’ll pay a few hundred dollars to upgrade your electric service is these new EVs will be God’s gift to the power companies.
Each night while we sleep power usage drops to almost nothing. Power companies have excess capacity out their ***.
Home charging overnight might be half the cost of a public charger. Already my power company has a discount for off peak usage.
AMERICAS RELIANCE ON MINERALS FOR BATTERY PRODUCTION IS A MAJOR PROBLEM. MORE MARKET CONTROL AND POWER FOR CHINA. THE NEWER TESLA IF DEVELOPED WILL BE A TOTAL CHINESE PRODUCTION MADE IN CHINA.Bruce » 17 Jul 2023, 6:20 am » wrote: ↑ Last night 87 octane unleaded regular cost $3.13 a gallon, and a four or six cylinder car can easily get 32 miles per gallon on the freeway. Our local electric rates are just under 11 cents a kilowatt hour. Today Elon Musk makes a $32,000 Tesla (after rebate) that operates at 3 cents a mile on 11 cents a kilowatt electricity.
The batteries in a 2023 Tesla are ten times cheaper than batteries in a 2013 Tesla. The Tesla itself is about two times cheaper.
A Tesla runs 250 miles, recharges in no more than thirty minutes, for $7.50, and runs 250 more miles.
Plus a $50,000 Tesla outruns a $100,000 Charger Hellcat. 0-60 in 3 seconds.
My Hemi has 16 spark plugs. Tesla doesn’t have spark plugs, or pistons, or valves, or camshafts, or a crankshaft, or a conventional transmission.
Elon Musk is the new Henry Ford. A Tesla is the new Model T.
Next year Musk will sell about two million Teslas, and that’s just Teslas, not all the millions more GM, Ford, and Chrysler are going to sell, in a few years.
It won’t be long before you see EVs with Trump stickers.
They cost three times less to run.
**** saving the planet.
An EV saves so much money nothing will stop them.
Plus, I’d like a thousand horsepower, and so will everybody else.
Base model EVs have about the same power as my Hemi. The fast ones have about a thousand horsepower.
