Oh, and let me clarify.  I don't believe your restated assertion either.  I don't think a vast majority of democrats in any forum support Epps.  I think that the vast majority of democrats listen to him talking on 1/5 and put him in the pile with all the other MAGA morons, but I will admit that I have not taken the time to collect the research on multiple political sites to state that as anything other than a personal opinion....
