The US soldier who ran across the border into North Korea Tuesday was facing multiple assault allegations as well as a fine for damaging a police vehicle.Army Private 2nd Class Travis King, 23, was accused of punching a man several times in the face at a club on September 25 last year, Seoul court records indicate.Two weeks later, on October 8, Korean authorities responded to another dust-up involving King, who was allegedly displaying “aggressive behavior,” according to the court documents.

Kim will use this kid for propaganda purposes.

But he’s not committed horrible crimes, and he’ll soon miss his mother.

The biggest difference between Democrats and Republicans is we still have a trace of humanity, mercy and forgiveness. 

He won’t get off Scot free, but we’d clear the path home.

            He had a path home, but decided to make other travel plans --- which leaves some serious questions to be answered when looking at the timeline of events on how he was able to even get to the Joint Security area at the DMZ to cross the border......

     1.  Supposedly King had just been released from a Korean Detention Center in Seoul after serving 2 months for assaulting Korean civilians and damaging a Police Vehicle..

     2.  Upon his release, the US Army made arrangements to ship him back to Fort Bliss Texas in the States to face additional disciplinary action, and placed him under observation for 1 week... 

     3.  He was booked to fly Civilian Charter on American Airlines out of Incheon Airport, and was escorted by US Military to the Airport ---  but his escorts were not allowed to walk him to the Boarding Area.... 

     4. At the Boarding Gate, King told an American Airline official that he'd forgotten his Passport ---- the Airline Official then escorted King out of the Boarding Area and they parted ways.... King walked out of the Airport Terminal.. 

     5. Next King, was somehow able to join a group of visitors for a guided DMZ Tour.... This is when he broke off from the group and bolted across the border.... Normally it takes a few days of vetting & paperwork to clear someone for such a Tour...
