What about military secrets?Skans » 21 Jul 2023, 10:32 am » wrote: ↑ WE THE PEOPLE paid for every bit of classified information the government withholds from us. I would withhold certain military technology and, as I said, any information regarding the names of our personnel deployed in other countries.

However, all military endeavors need to be declassified. Not right as they are engaged, but no less than 1 year after commencement. WE, THE PEOPLE have a right to know what our military has been doing - after all, WE'RE PAYING FOR IT.
I'm not saying that classified information needs to be distributed to the American public immediately, but within one year, that should suffice.Bruce » 21 Jul 2023, 11:13 am » wrote: ↑ You’d get people put in the graveyard.
For example.
Our intelligence likely knew Wagner Group was planning a coup.
If Putin knew we knew he might wonder who snitched.
The very existence of information indicates it’s source.
All the Zyclon B used in the camps was made by private contractors under official German contract processes.Skans » 21 Jul 2023, 12:20 pm » wrote: ↑ I'm not saying that classified information needs to be distributed to the American public immediately, but within one year, that should suffice.
As for the Wagner Group, if they don't want the Americans to ever know what they were up to, then don't talk to Americans. That's on them, not us.
Here's the deal, we the people have a right to know what our military is doing in other countries. That's part of the check-and-balance system to make sure we are not poking our noses in **** that we shouldn't be.
The media shouldn't release news for all the world to see.. Like repeating how we are running out of weapons. Keep your mouth SHUT!Bruce » 21 Jul 2023, 11:13 am » wrote: ↑ You’d get people put in the graveyard.

For example, if the people knew Democrats were fabricating a hoax with the participation of the FBI and social media to discredit Donald Trump.....we might not have a moron named Biden as President.Bruce » 21 Jul 2023, 11:13 am » wrote: ↑ You’d get people put in the graveyard.

Why should We The People never know what our government is doing? That's crazy. This country of ours was established as a government of the people, by the people and for the people, whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed.Bruce » 21 Jul 2023, 12:42 pm » wrote: ↑ All the Zyclon B used in the camps was made by private contractors under official German contract processes.
FDR likely knew they were gassing Jews (plus as many Degenerate Christians as they could catch) and if he did nobody should EVER know.
The Russians can count.sootedupCyndi » 21 Jul 2023, 12:55 pm » wrote: ↑ The media shouldn't release news for all the world to see.. Like repeating how we are running out of weapons. Keep your mouth SHUT!

Every one of the untold millions upon millions and millions of 155mm shells made since 1940 was on government bid.
Right now Biden is negotiating with Turkey to have Turkey put a ship beside every convoy of grain ships entering the Dardanelles.
If Biden has to send hookers and Cuban cigars ( and he might) he shouldn’t ever have to worry about it becoming public.

So, you want America to be ruled by a Dictator. Not government of the people, by the people, FOR THE PEOPLE. Got it. I don't want your kind of government. Not now. Not ever.Bruce » 21 Jul 2023, 1:09 pm » wrote: ↑ The Russians can count.

That's ****. There is nothing in the Declaration of Independence or Constitution about "Presidential Libraries". We, the People are entitled to all classified information. It is ours. The people that work for us owe us this information. It is not "optional". What you are advocating for is a bureaucratic dictatorship.

So...you say "Nothing Should Be Classified...", then list things that should be classified.Skans » 21 Jul 2023, 10:32 am » wrote: ↑ WE THE PEOPLE paid for every bit of classified information the government withholds from us. But "We, the People" have elected people to represent us and enact laws. It could be rightfully argued that the people have decided that things should be classified because they haven't kicked the people who crafted the legislation classifying the information out on their ***.Skans » 21 Jul 2023, 1:45 pm » wrote: ↑ That's ****.
