But "We, the People" have elected people to represent us and enact laws.  It could be rightfully argued that the people have decided that things should be classified because they haven't kicked the people who crafted the legislation classifying the information out on their ***.

Just because "You, the Person" don't like something doesn't mean "We, the People" agree with you.

Oh, you are absolutely correct about that.  I would like to see legislation along the lines that I mentioned, declassifying all documents within one year they are written.  Even electronic documents. What I am saying is that we the people should demand this of our government, we should force this legislation upon them. None of us is "entitled" to any monetary amount to be paid by our government to us, but we sure as **** are entitled to know what our government is spending our hard earned money on. 

It's like if you and your wife have a kid you are putting through college.  You put him on a budget and expect him to do right by the two of you.  He runs out of money, demands more and what do you say?  1) Ok, son, here's a blank check - write whatever you want there and eat off of my hard work all you possibly can, or 2) demand an itemized run-down of each and every cent he spent over the last month, and they say "F-You" when you realize 25% was spent on booze and drugs.

But like all the industry that left the US

Too many conservatives reporting on it - ex military.
Ritter, MacGregor, Larry Johnson, many more.

For 20 years we prepared for middle east wars. 
Air wars, huge carriers....not artillery wars, not tank wars.
We thought that was a bye gone day.
We literally make only 500 shells per day. All sources confirm this...will be 2,500 by 2028.

Russia has 18 factories that make arty 24/7
because they always knew the next war
would be a ww1 ww 2 style arty war
on their west border.  A trench war.

They were never having to consider finding someone with which to do battle any further than their border.
