your 2 rules are incomplete about true answers.

Yeah, the FBI, DOJ and homeland security can do all the investigation of citizens they want, illegally without any repercussions...

The DOJ is corrupt.
The FBI is corrupt.
The BATFE is corrupt.
The CIA is corrupt
The Secret Service is corrupt.

And, every one in these agencies, including Joe Biden, knows this. If they go forward with investigating Biden for any of these crimes, they will expose themselves. That's what they are scared of.

Nothing wrong with asking another country to look into corruption on their end. Especially when they colluded with the DNC to interfere with the 2016 US election

You're right. President Trump should've had his AG arrest his political opponent for treason, bribery and other high crimes and misdemeanors

The government wants to ignore the testimony because everybody else in government makes their fortunes in the same way. If the Bidens go down for it so should their republican counterparts...past and present. Don't hear much from McConnell on the matter do you? The Clintons? We would, literally, have to gut the government.

A very long time ago the people of this country decided that they were going to tolerate this corruption. It's going to be pretty hard to change course now.

I didn't say that we shouldn't do anything. I just don't think we will do anything meaningful.
 
Look up "Operation Greylord" if you aren't familiar. It was a big undercover investigation in Cook county Il (Chicago) in the 80's. They brought charges against about 100 judges and lawyers and the whole thing went on for over 10 years. That was only one investigation in one single county.

Do you think the rest of the government is any cleaner? Or that people have somehow become more virtuous since then?

Why limit this to just federal office holders elected. break it down all the way back to local dog catchers sheriffs. Even Soros funded DA's not doing their job.
