Suburban swing voters who helped fuel the Democratic Party’s gains in recent years are becoming Republicans.
     More than 1 million voters across 43 states have switched to the Republican Party over the last year, according to voter registration data analyzed by The Associated Press. The previously unreported number reflects a phenomenon that is playing out in virtually every region of the country — Democratic and Republican states along with cities and small towns — in the period since President Joe Biden replaced former President Donald Trump.
     But nowhere is the shift more pronounced — and dangerous for Democrats — than in the suburbs, where well-educated swing voters who turned against Trump’s Republican Party in recent years appear to be swinging back. Over the last year, far more people are switching to the GOP across suburban counties from Denver to Atlanta and Pittsburgh and Cleveland. Republicans also gained ground in counties around medium-size cities such as Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Raleigh, North Carolina; Augusta, Georgia; and Des Moines, Iowa.

 Four state lawmakers have now switched from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party in the last month. It’s part of a decades-long trend that’s helped the GOP consolidate power in certain states, handing them majorities, and even supermajorities.The West Virginia GOP announced Monday that Delegate Elliott Pritt, who was elected as a Democrat, was joining its ranks. Last week, Louisiana Rep. Jeremy LaCombe became the second Democrat in the state house to defect, just weeks after Rep. Francis Thompson announced his decision to leave the party. Thompson’s decision gave Republicans a supermajority in the state house; North Carolina state Rep. Tricia Cotham also gave Republicans a supermajority in that state’s house when she announced her decision to switch parties earlier this month. Republicans in both Louisiana and North Carolina now have the power to override their Democratic governors’ vetos as a result.

when joe took office, dems were up 9 pts...by the end of the year, the GOP was up by 5...

Next year the battleground states are Nevada Arizona Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Georgia which Trump lost in 2020.

Biden needs Pennsylvania and one or Arizona and Georgia or Georgia or Wisconsin, and it’s over.

Trump again, needs to draw to an inside straight.

Where the Republicans need Trump is his hard core supporters will only stand in lines to vote for The One Donald Trump. Ours vote for an 80 year old guy that kisses babies in public.

So in a 1984 excellent type booming economy Biden is a severe threat in Texas, Florida, Ohio, Iowa, and Alaska. Plus Biden wins North Carolina in a walk and all the other blue 2020 states.

By a year and half from now the booming economy of it keeps on booming will have low interest and inflation rates and record home starts and the Republicans are just, so, ****.

The Republican solution is to pray for a Depression.

When you get into people's pocket books, they tend to start looking at why it's occurring.

Nobody is praying for a depression...though the economy has been tough the last couple years and some economists still say a recession is likely.

A feble minded life long cheat for a president, a brainless bimbo for a vice president, a Democrat party preoccupied with promoting deviant sex and the whole thing mixed with a giant portion of corruption and...it's a scary fycking time for somebody my age who doesn't have a million bucks socked away.
