not to mention taxes were lower,  we were energy independent, inflation was a lot lower, the border was more secure,   And he could answer questions coherently

We still export gasoline today because Obama made regulations on fracking that made America the largest producer of oil on the planet.

But Brandon’s regulations have leased more public land s for fracking and drilling  and drilling for oil in Alaska since Richard Nixon.

Last year at a gas station I **** up.

I went inside to pay for my gas because the pump card reader was not working and came out and put in fifty  bucks, washed the windshield, checked the oil and fluids, shut  the hood, and went back inside for my change, I’d paid $60.

A car pulled up behind my wife and she got in and drove forward —

Nozzle still in the tank.  Oooops!

Thanks to government regs, the clerk laughed, handed me ten bucks, went out with a key, popped the hose back in the pump, and said that happened at least once a month.

No damage, none, to our vehicle or the pump.

I’m glad I didn’t try that **** forty or fifty years ago.

Talk about your major Dee Saster.

I never pumped gas in my life. Usually a guy did it for me.
One time my friends decided i needed to go into *pumping gas Training.* LOL
 I don't know if it was me -or just a coincidence- something always went wrong! LOL
one time i broke the pump- 
 ok- they said... never mind cyndi.
I got a bit paranoid over this.  
does your wife pump gas?

Hell no.

Nor does she check oil, change flats, or look in the rear view mirror except to do her make up.

My mother lived 84 years, and never touched a gas pump.

Well that's good to know. LOL- i can check oil- charge a battery- check the fluids.

I had to laugh tho -about looking in the mirror. I backed up the car in the driveway... Right beside the parked plow truck. I looked in the mirror. all looked clear..... loud noise- crunch! What in the hell was that??????
OOOOO I didn't see the wide plow on the ground.
It put a huge tear in the car.      

pump gas- no. backing up. not so good.

but i have been driving for years... and years. In the snow. picking up stranded men on the side of the road. i consider myself a good driver?
but that WAS so STOOPID of me.
you should put her in *pumping gas training*- what if something happened to you?

She would use full service.

I grew up with certain rules I still follow.

My mother was Queen of the house.

Inside Mama’s house she was the absolute ruler, there was no appeal, you could not even question her authority.  You did it and you smiled,

Mama never mowed one blade of grass, pumped any gas, or did any farm work whatsoever.

Each morning Mama never left her bedroom without looking as perfect as Elizabeth Taylor, from her high heeled shoes to her professionally done once a week hair.  Perfect.

She would then walk out to the always less than five year old new car Daddy had started for her, and go forth to teach school.

He’d complement her looks and always, always brag on how well she was raising me.

In return, my father never bought, nor washed, one pair or underwear his entire life. None. Zero. Never.

She took that job over from his Mama.

He was the happiest man I’ve ever known.

Went around whistling all the time, like Billy Walker.

She sat there as the queen bee... Only thing for her day -was her make-up.
I always felt I was her slave- as well as her best friend. I was very spoiled.

She was his trophy wife. she used him. and he never knew.

We had a very good relationship.

I tell everyone she was Betty- and my blonde Aunt was Wilma Flintstone. lol
and i was a kid watching it all play out.  snicker.

The Democratic Party has one huge flaw,

They appeal to the fortunate children of perfect homes with books stacked under every bed, and on built in bookshelves, overflowing.

What about those white kids in sight of our home, 15 hillbilly children with worn out shoes, a fat mother and a father who worked out of town all week keeping the wolf from the door?
