If you’d read more, you’d find Hunter is selling $200,000 to $500,000 paintings in the wide open, through exclusive SoHo art galleries, since 2021.
I really don't give a **** if you believe me or not. I know I am an honest and honorable man and I have lived by the honor concept instilled in me at Annapolis throughout my Navy career and beyond.

Any Tom, Dick, or Harry with the money can buy one.
They are not commissions. They are sold from stock.
Supposedly the gallery owners have a blind buyer clause where they can’t tell Hunter or Joe who bought them.

The paintings are surprisingly good, say critics. Not as good as the price, but not bad.
Trump sells $4,990,000 worth of Trump Digital Trading cards when he runs short.
There’s a sucker born every minute.

hmmmm...interesting perspective. I would say that the opinion of a legal scholar carries some pretty significant weight. So when he says something is legally serious, he's bound to be close to the truth.maineman » 25 Jul 2023, 2:12 pm » wrote: ↑ that's the first word in the text of the article. the first word of the link is OPINION
So when the headline screams: Media beg Republicans to ‘move on’ from Hunter Biden – because they know scandal is serious
what it should really say, in a normal voice, is ".... because the author of this OPINION piece THINKS the scandal is serious and is vain enough to assume that all the Media should agree with him." Wouldn't you agree?
You failed the chain of command thingie with your boss, Donald Trump.
I guess you never read the oath of office for military officers and see how it differs from the oath of enlistment.RebelGator » 25 Jul 2023, 4:43 pm » wrote: ↑ You failed the chain of command thingie with your boss, Donald Trump.
We can't have that in a military where officers swear an oath of allegiance to the President.

Actually, I feel like laughing at the stupidity of the whole thing....but it's way cool how the grunts doing the real work are just cannon fodder for the elitist pretty boys....almost like real life. I guess that chain of command thingie only applies to someone under you, how quaint.maineman » 25 Jul 2023, 5:16 pm » wrote: ↑ I guess you never read the oath of office for military officers and see how it differs from the oath of enlistment.
Enlisted members of the armed forces, in their oath of ENLISTMENT, pledge to obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
Commissioned officers in their oath of OFFICE only pledge to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
Don't you feel stupid for not knowing that, Cletis?
cool opinion. My opinion of Jonathan Turley is that he is a hack for the GOP. So we will just have to agree to have differing opinions.neueregel » 25 Jul 2023, 4:17 pm » wrote: ↑ hmmmm...interesting perspective. I don't need to tell myself anything. It is how I have lived my life. Vocalization is superfluous.
