Indeed. And the plea deal trying to slide in that Hunter can’t be charged with anything else is just delicious!

Correction

The judge stated she would not accept the deal until all charges the government knows of and COULD FILE were included.

Here’s how a plea deal works

In exchange for a guilty plea, the government promises no more charges will be filed over the crimes the defendant could be charged with, that are known to te government.

If it later turns up Hunter did a bank robbery, that’s outside the plea agreement.

But a Trump appointed prosecutor has spent five years investigating Burisma and China and all Hunter’s overseas financial dealings.

Hunter filed taxes and paid the entire tax bill due.

But yesterday the government said they might still prosecute Hunter for being an unregistered foreign agent.

The judge said no deal until all charges are resolved.

Then there’s another problem.  Hunter legally bought a gun he owned 11 days until Hallie Biden took it away from him.

There is, a Second Amendment.  The Second Amendment protects Hunter’s right to own that gun.

The judge wants to know what proof the government has, that Hunter Biden was addicted to drugs when he bought his gun.

It’s not enough everybody knows he was a druggie, there has to be admissible evidence he was.

There is audio proof of Hunter asking Hallie to pay for rehab for him just a few weeks before he bought the gun.

Why would someone that wasn't currently in the throes of addiction want to go to rehab?

You just like making **** up don't you?

Yes he was a druggie.  No doubt.

But for all my life, and I’m white headed, Hunter cannot be charged for drug possession if he tests positive for drugs. Neither can video of him on drugs be used against him.  For drug possession to stick the cops must find drugs, in your possession. No drugs no case.

If you don’t have the law set up that way, nobody would ever go to rehab

In the history of that law Hunter might be the only person ever charged with it that never used the gun in any crime, and never was caught with drugs.

Hallie tossed the gun after 11 days.

If you respect the 2nd Amendment, isn’t this a dangerous precedent?

You really need to do your research before running your cock holster.

The ATF themselves (part of the DOJ) says that it's a big deal... except in Hunter's case according to you of course.

https://www.atf.gov/news/pr/federal-pro ... ansactions

It's not like some woman from 30 years ago is claiming he raped her in a dressing room at Saks or anything.

He lied on the form 4477, which is a felony.

End of story.

I’ve filled out so many 4473 forms I’ve lost count.

Hunter goes to a gun shop.  He buys a new Colt Cobra (not a real one) and hands over his money and his operators license and the clerk said answer yes on number one and no on the others (depending on which year and form used that day)

Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?
——

Let’s pretend some other poor bastard, not the son of a President, buys a gun at an FFL in a backwoods gun shop in Tennessee.

How long, before he can go to rehab and admit he’s got a prescription drug problem?  There will be pharmacy records that could send him to federal prison.

The law is supposed to be blind.

If I was the judge I’d toss that charge and make sure the press got it right.

If the law was never intended to be enforced, then why is it on the books?

So it can be weaponized when needed?

perhaps the judge had been unaware of the contents of the paralegal's affidavit which seems exactly on point?

The form 4473 questions on “are you a fugitive from Justice” and also the Oswald question about renouncing your citizenship have already been held unconstitutional, over forty years ago.

The act needs an overhaul, very badly.

Can you pass the Instant Check?

Sale!

There are MAGAS out there with weed cards for their PTSD that are felons because of that clause.

Not to mention our friend Willie Nelson would do 5,000 years in federal prison if he owns one .22 bullet.Image

It’s ridiculous.  SCOTUS needs to shut that **** down.

Ok, here’s the problem the judge had, the biggest one.

For five years, a Trump assigned prosecutor has poured over records of Hunter getting 50,000 a month from Burisma, because his Daddy was Vice President

So now, if Hunter pleads guilty to not paying taxes on time for the money, the government wants to maybe come back later and prosecute Hunter for taking the money as a foreign agent and not reporting the money?

Bull ****.

The judge won’t let Hunter plead to that deal.
