Turn off the TV and use your own thermometers, tv reports have been 3 to 5 degrees higher than my thermometers. Weather was dryer than normal in the spring but has now switched to higher than normal precipitation. When the sun goes south it is going to be cold and flu season again.

with all the msm fanfare regarding "record temperatures", the local weatherman this morning stated "while it seemed hotter in July, the average temp was up by only 0.2 degrees or well within a 'normal' July...having had 19 90+ degree days this year, 1988 had 44. also, 1936 holds the record for consecutive 90+ degree days with 18 vs 7 this yr..."

Back in the 70's, I would vacation in Daytona Beach. At that time, you could buy a beach house for UNDER $30,000 I came close to buying one. A few years went by and there was a slowing of hurricanes DUE TO the Pacific Decadal Ossification in a WARM phase. So developers started snatching up as much beach front as they could and built condos, resorts, and massive hotels. And now, when a hurricane hits, it is a "Disaster" because of the UTTER STUPID of building on the water where you WILL get weather that WILL devastate your billion dollar investment.

It's more STUPID than you realize.
