This case does.

The Supreme Court just last year rejected John Eastman’s independent state legislature theory.

In a nutshell, the theory was the states can disregard the actual results of elections (for any reason they choose) and authorize any electors they want.

So if your state votes for Trump next year, Biden can have your legislature cancel your vote.

Eastman’s problem is Trump’s band of conspirators left even Eastman’s rails and began fabricating dummy slates of Republican electors even in solid blue New Mexico where the state legislature and the state house officers are Democrats.

Eastman warned Trump trying a ten day delay was illegal.

Trump’s lawyer is all over Fox claiming Trump only wanted a ten day delay from Mike Pemce.

Mike Pence is saying Trump flat out wanted to steal the election.

It’s really bad, this one is.

Most Democrats believe this is a politically motivated prosecution. Not sure anyone but rabid progressives have an appetite for prosecuting their political opponents. They will certainly need the three inch print to be legible to their target demographic.
