If you use a generator, turn your main breaker off. You can feed the panel thru your dryer receptacle.

Where are you at? Just asking if you get that kind of weather very often.
This isn't much but: At least it isn't winter/heating season.

Small consolation, I know. Good luck to you.
Please seat yourself.

This has to be an insurance job. I mean that in a good way.
Like... they pay.

Not... you set this up.  ;)

Are you able to stay there or are you forced out for the duration?
Please seat yourself.

I still do not have power. So yeah- I’m not staying there. The tree that fell was my neighbors

modern homes have a lot of metal straps that really keep the framework intact. Maybe just a few hundred bucks worth of straps per house..but worth every penny.

USE A PORTABLE GENERATOR.  AND RUN ESSENTIALS OFF IT.
THE MAIN PANEL AND SUB PANELS, IF ANY, SHOULD NOT BE ENERGIZED UNTIL A FULL INSPECTION IS PERFORMED.

GOOD LUCK. GET ON THE PHONE WITH FEMA AND INSURANCE COMPANY IMMEDIATELY IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY

Well SOMEBODY has to be...hit the worst......!!
Are your power lines above ground...?
Mine are and last November a huge cottonwood tree fell over , hit the powerlines and the force was enough to fold the steel pipe  that feeds the wires from above my home's roof down into the power meter box.....in half. The top branches of that same tree hit the bed of my pick up truck putting a big crease in it. Earlier in the year I had just done some extensive body work to that old pick up truck's bed...too. The amount of wood that I harvested from that tree more or less offset the monetary damages it cost me.
Life's supposed to be an adventure anyway...right...?

BETTER HAVE A COMPANY GET A TARP ON IT RIGHT AWAY.
ORIGINALLY THOUGHT TO BE A TORNADO WAS NOT. THEY WERE STRAIGHT LINE WINDS THAT CAN REACH UP TO 100 MILES AN HOUR
