—-Reserves at MorenciThe proven and probable mineral reserves at Morenci were estimated at 12.3 million tonnes (mt) grading 0.23% copper, with 15,701 million pounds (mlb) of recoverable copper and 286mlb of molybdenum as of December 2022.Mining at Morenci copper projectThe Morenci mine employs a conventional open-pit, truck and shovel operation. The operation includes drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling. The open pit mine is approximately 5.4km in width from east to west and 7.4km in length from north to south. The final pit depth is expected to be approximately 4,450ft, ranging from 1,800ft to 6,250ft above sea level. Mining operations are carried out on 50ft benches with double benches where the pit slope permits. The current mining fleet includes 146 units of 267t trucks, 16 blast hole drills, 13 electric rope shovels and six front-end loaders. A fleet of ancillary equipment including track dozers, wheel loaders, motor graders, backhoes, and water trucks supports the mining fleet.

Isn’t that so nice of one the richest men that’s ever lived, Warren Buffet, to own a tiny company that sells World Books to the mothers of four year olds?

When I learned the words to Open Pit Mine from the radio, I said, Mama where is Morenci Arizona, where the copper mines glow?

I’ve known about the need for mines since then.
And once again you spool of on some off topic tangent after looking like a *******.

At least you haven't started quoting Bible verses... yet.

The World Books did not cover sexual perversions much, if at all.

Remember what a totally privileged, innocent, tiny percentage of us were graced by God to be born into the cult of the Sottish tradition Christian Church and get those World Books the fall we turned four.

When they let us use the high school library we all checked out this book, and I bought my own copy.

By then I already had a girl friend, the preachers daughter who was 15 when I was 13.

Talk about owning a car and not knowing how to start it.:)

Did you catch the 1987 Red Headed Stranger movie ?

https://youtu.be/HP2SYEnT7I0

I bought the album in 1975  and memorized all the tracks.

The red headed stranger from Blue Rock Montana was a wandering Christian minister who’d lost his darling wife and led her bay pony around.

A painted up blonde in a bar came on to him, and he bought her a drink and gave her some money.

Guess what happened to her, when she reached for the bay?

Every Christian boy alive in 1975 bought that album.

It made Willie a mega star.

Who says the Christian life doesn’t pay dividends?

One of the reasons I believe the Master keeps watch over his own is Willie Nelson is 90 years old and on tour in the Honeysuckle Rose with Trigger.

Broke thirty years ago from IRS debts, Willie had to hide Trigger from the tax men.  But he paid it all off.

He’s smoked a million cigarettes since he was a child.

You can’t imagine all the gorgeous women Willie has turned down, for the ones that love him.

When marijuana is legalized his Willie’s Reserve will be the most valuable ganja trademark in the world.

And as a lifelong Christian Willie’s Family Trust now owns the station of the mother church of country music WSM and the Grand Ole Opry, and Willie’s Roadhouse 56

It’s a long way from the Family Bible to a monopoly on all the righteous music from Nashville Tennessee

Well I’ll  be damned.

Brandon is going to see record oil production this year and next and the USA will surpass Saudi Arabia as the greatest oil producer in the world.

Don’t tell the greenies.Image

  • U.S. crude oil production. As a result of higher expected well-level productivity and higher crude oil prices, we expect U.S. crude oil production will average 12.8 million b/d in 2023 and 13.1 million b/d in 2024, both annual records.

EV startups burn through more cash as demand falters...

- U.S. electric vehicle startups are expected to show the impact of Tesla's price war when they report quarterly results over the next few days, with investors awaiting details on how the companies are managing cash amid a funding drought.Even market leader Tesla (TSLA.O) has warned of "turbulent times" and traditional automakers with deeper pockets including Ford Motor (F.N) are losing money on EVs. The squeeze has already claimed its first casualty in electric truck maker Lordstown Motors (RIDEQ.PK), which filed for bankruptcy in June.
Companies including Lucid (LCID.O) and Nikola (NKLA.O) are likely to report another quarter of steep cash burn, as they continue to struggle with production and demand.
"The only ones that have a chance besides Musk are the legacy auto providers and so far they are proving that they are losing money hand over fist trying to get into the EV game," said Thomas Hayes, chairman of hedge fund Great Hill Capital. Hayes follows the EV industry closely but holds no shares.

Drill in Yelllowstone Park, right down Old Faithful.:)

Seriously, regardless of who is our President, America needs fifty dollars to profitably drill wells and the Arabs only need five.

And if our President is ever a Republican again, which we can only fervently hope and pray we are forever freed from such a plague, the greenies will block our new drilling if they possibly can.  Only a Democrat can get away with this much drilling.

But the good news is the day a Republican gets an EV is the day they quit caring about the price of gasoline.

The Republican is as perfectly selfish as a child.  He can watch people starve on the street and never shed a tear, only be angry at the Democrats they starved.
What few morals he ever had, Fox News ate long ago.

But when the Republican does get his Hellcat fast electric, he’ll quit blasting new wind farms, electric cars, and lithium mines.

He will always whine, moan, bitch, bellyache, complain and object about everything and anything new and better.  Such is his nature.

But he’ll quit saying Thanks Brandon  when gas goes up a dime.:)
