   Things have not been normal since the beginning of the USA civil war, civil meaning things relating to citizen-civilians,  Lincoln never makes an argument about USA slaves being classified as animals in the law enabling the situation where they can not negotiate their own contracts, make employment decisions or have any other normal legal capability's.
  Private ownership of slaves is discontinued after Lincoln calls up the army six hundred thousand civilians die however Lincoln Republicans adopt eugenics programing where former slaves are signed over to a corporation commune that will decide their fate and the fate of the entire USA population. Being owned by a corporation group like a crop of genetic modified soy beans is not freedom.

Why is the Federal Government bloated? Just look at the voters/american people. They want this. They vote for candidates who promise funding, projects. If you have ever worked in government.. for every project, you have to have oversight, documentation, hearings, etc. My solution (unrealistic, I know) is to mandate a limit or balanced budget. Would this cause some candidates to lose re-election bids? Yes. Would it make politics less gossip-worthy? Yes.

That number will double within the next 20 to 30 years.
illegal Aliens are willing to work for zero benefits, zero overtime and poverty wages.
Millions of legit US Citizens have been betrayed. The jobs that they have lost to the Illegal Aliens used to pay well enough to support a family and even with money to spare.
At this point it's going to take a SHTF of Biblical proportions to undo this mess.
