Merrick Garland is defying federal regulations. WHY? Because in order to AVOID conflicts of Interest... he is REQUIRED name someone from:
“outside the United States government” (28 CFR 600.03).
But what Garland has done... Is HE has appointed possibly the ABSOLUTELY WORST PERSON POSSIBLE to be Special Council... Why?:
1) He is NOT "Un-biased" politically...
2) He is NOT "Un-biased" relating to THIS CASE...
3) He WORKS for Joe Biden, and the Investigation is OF "Hunter Biden"... AND
4) He WAS CLOSELY involved in the botched "Sweetheart deal" for Hunter !
This appointment MUST be overturned, and someone WITHOUT CONFLICTS needs to be appointed... Weiss CONFLICTS of INTEREST ALL over the place !!

Republicans are truly not the brightest bulbs on the tree, by any measure
But Weiss is second only to Trump for being stupid.
If five years of investigation produced two misdemeanor tax charges and one bogus, trumped up gun charge a Trump appointed judge won’t accept the defendant’s plea to, what is special counsel status going to do?

Per the DOJ's own policy, when the Attorney General appoints a "Special Prosecutor"... Per the governing document for "Appointing a Special Prosecutor", per 28 CFR 600.03... He only can ONLY name someone “outside the United States government” !

There are still RULES for WHO can be tasked with the investigation... and per the DOJ's own policy... Every rule in Chapter 28 is about forty years old, and only applied to independent counsel, not modern special counsel like Jack Smith or Weiss.
Those independent counsels usually never dared prosecute the highest ranking officials because they knew the day after their commission expired they would never be able to take their grandkids out to Cracker Barrel the rest of their lives, without some whack job wanting to kill them, because they prosecuted Ronald Reagan for Iran-Contra, for example.
Jack Smith can never go get groceries the rest of his life.
He can’t ever pump his own gas.
That’s the price of public service.
