A DEVASTATED economy DOES NOT bounce COMPLETELY BACK within 2-3 months !  A DEVASTATED economy would be something like NAZI Germany after WW2 !  What happened to the American economy because of COVID, was everyone just STOPPED... Stopped working, Stopped producing, Stopped building, JUST STOPPED !!  When the go ahead was given by Trump to go back to work... 1) the economy started working, producing, buying and selling VERY QUICKLY again, 2) the Stock Market BOUNCED back, and picked up RIGHT where it left off... and 3)  EVERYTHING was RIGHT back to normal until Joe Biden SPENT another $3.6 Trillion that we didn't have, and DIDN'T NEED to spend...  AND... WHEN there is MORE MONEY SLOSHING AROUND the economy, than there are places to put it... THAT is ONE cause of Inflation !!

It's clear to me YOU don't KNOW ****, about very much... and MUCH of what you THINK you know... is WRONG !!  JUST like MOST Liberal Democrats... and THAT is why America is the TROUBLE we are in NOW !!  NOW... let me throw THIS ONE back at YOU... because like ALL Democrats... and it's TRUE... YOU accuse OTHERS of EXACTLY what YOU are guilty of YOURSELF...

YOU must be the BIGGEST BONE HEAD on the PLANET !!

FIRST, Donald Trump should NEVER have shut down the economy... in retrospect... countries like Sweden who NEVER shut down the economy had COVID cases that were NO DIFFERENT than countries that did shut down... AND, there is NO EVIDENCE that the vaccines did much to improve the recovery... WHAT we should have done is Protect the older people, the people with pre existing conditions, and people in Nursing homes.. We SHOULD have known that once the FIRST dlarge loss of life was at a nursing home in Washington State !!  BUT, FAUCCI was the IDIOT EXPERT who had Trumps ear.. and HE convinced Trump to shut everything down... AN INSIDE Deep State MOLE if you ask me.. and I EXPECT that to come out IF we ever have the opportunity to COMPLETELY investigate the FIASCO !!

As for the ECONOMY... To ANYONE who's interested in the truth, take a look at these graphs:

1)  Gross Domestic Product (GDP):

https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/gdp

2)  Stock Market:
https://www.officialdata.org/us/stocks/s-p-500/2012

3)  Unemployment Rate:
https://www.bls.gov/charts/employment-s ... t-rate.htm

In ALL of THREE charts... YOU will that see that the period BEFORE the "2020 shutdown", and the period shortly after the "re-start up" (Later 2020)... that IF you remove the disruption that WAS the COVID "Shut Down" it would be as if COVID NEVER HAPPENED !!  ONCE AGAIN, you have to WONDER why Faucci pushed to SHUT everything down, and IF there was an ulterior motive behind it ALL !!

SOMETHING looks VERY SUSPICIOUS !

so...you can't answer my basic question.

You claimed that Trump gave the go-ahead to go back to work but cannot tell us the date that he gave such a go-ahead.

I'll wait, but I will not hold my breath.

ARE YOU some sort of clinical IDIOT?  The CDC issued the work shutdown (with the agreement of the President) in early March 2020... America was out of work until the later part of June 2020, at which time people were permitted to go back to work, under a number of restrictions, including LOTS of "Remote" work requirements, BUT (AGAIN with the agreement of the President)... people began to go back to work.. I LIVED THRU IT... DIP ****... WHERE were YOU ?

I did live through it, and it was the states, and not the CDC, that made the individual decisions to begin reopening their economies.  Your link even says as much:"But some workers around the country are also beginning to return to their jobs as many states move to reopen their economies. Disney World and other Florida theme parks have announced plans to reopen in the next few weeks. In California, stores ordered closed since March 19 have been cleared to reopen under guidelines that recommend employee screenings, face coverings and social distancing.?

The states ultimately DID have the final authority.. but the CDC's and the Federal Governments influence in the decision SHOULD NOT be under estimated... There was a GROUP of experts who were involved at the macro level.... and held LOT of sway.  IF the CDC and the Trump appointees would have had PROBLEMS with the re-opening... I don't think it would have happened... However, Trump was VERY eager to get the U.S. economy open again, as early as May 1, 2020 !  It didn't quite happen, but soon after that... Trump PUSHED to re-open the economy EVEN THOUGH MOST Democrats opposed it... AND, it was HE and the Republican Governors who started the ball rolling... THEY and Trump were RIGHT... as Democrats would have kept everything shut down for MONTHS LONGER... and WOULD have utterly DESTROYED the economy !!

MAYBE though..THAT'S what they were TRYING to do...

There was NO Bill **** about it... YOU seem to want to believe that the STATES had ALL the authority... however, that was not true... Trumps administration, of which the CDC and the "COVID team" was part led the effort... the states had the authority to say YES or NO, and the states had to comply with the guidelines established.  HOWEVER... ONCE the states DID get back to work the THRUST of my initial post WAS, AND STILL IS, CORRECT !!

The fact remains: you misspoke.  Not only did Trump NOT "give the go-ahead to go back to work", it was never his to give in the first place.
Be a big boy and own your mistakes.

And unemployment did not return to pre-COVID levels until a year AFTER the clown left office.  COVID devastated the world economy and you assholes try to say that it was somehow Joe's fault.

Of course, as a ****, liberal, braindead biden dicksucker, you would believe the lying hype about bidenomics.

This from August 2021:

"At the end of 2019, just prior to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the U.S. economy was still roaring. Fueled by Republicans’ 2017 tax reform law and the Trump administration’s commitment to reducing unnecessary government regulations, unemployment in numerous categories had reached historic or near-historic lows, including for African Americans, women, workers without a college degree and Hispanics.

After state and federal officials began locking down economic and social activities across the United States in early 2020, the economy faced an unprecedented collapse. From Feb. 2020 to April 2020, more than 16.35 million full-time jobs were destroyed.

From May 2020 to Jan. 2021, the final month of the Trump administration, many of the full-time jobs that had been lost during the government-imposed lockdowns returned as states started to reopen increasingly larger parts of their economies.

According to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), by the end of Jan. 2021, 10.66 million of the 16.35 million full-time jobs destroyed during the pandemic had been recovered, an average of 1.18 million jobs recovered per month...

The Biden administration and congressional Democrats aren’t done spending money, either. They are on the verge of pushing trillions of dollars in new infrastructure spending and government programs, policies that will continue to cause inflation and may pose a serious risk to the stability of the economy. In the past, rapid inflation and skyrocketing home prices have been strongly associated with economic downturns and/or a stock market crash.
President Biden hasn’t saved the economy from disaster. The modest progress we’ve seen under his administration is due mostly to the work of state lawmakers and vaccine makers. His reckless spending programs have the potential to push the country toward another financial catastrophe, perhaps as soon as within the next year or two.
That’s hardly a record worth celebrating."

It was an opinion piece.  He OPINED that Trump did great things for the economy by CUTTING taxes for rich folks which EXPLODED the deficit because he didn't collect tax revenues that we needed to have, even though he had promised us he'd eliminate the debt, not expand it  Biden raised the deficit as well, but he did so by helping the middle and bottom of the economy, certainly by spending money we didn't have (which nearly every president in my lifetime has done) but that money was spent to help people who NEEDED help, which is philosophically different than not taxing rich people who can certainly afford to be taxed.

If you ask me, I would much rather raise the deficit by spending and trying to help the little guy rather than by cutting taxes for the overwhelming benefit of the rich guys.

ONE MORE TIME !!

YOU seem to want to believe that the STATES had ALL the authority... however, that was not true... Trumps administration, of which the CDC and the "COVID team" was part led the effort... the states had the authority to say YES or NO, BUT the states had to comply with the guidelines established by the CDC and TRUMP!!  HOWEVER... ONCE the states DID get back to work... the THRUST of my initial post WAS, AND STILL IS, CORRECT !!  SO... LETS DISCUSS THAT !!

1)  The economy started working, producing, buying and selling VERY QUICKLY again AND was on its way to recovery... HOWEVER, INFLATION JUMPED in March 2021, AFTER Joe Biden was sworn into office, AND he passed THE 2nd and UN-NECESSARY Multi Trillion $$$ COVID relief bill... THEN INFLATION EXPLODED when Joe Biden passed The 3rd UN-NECESSARY Multi Trillion $$$ spending bill...  AND THANK GOD the 4TH $6  TRILLION Green New Deal UN-NECESSARY spending bill was DEFEATED !!!

2)  The Stock Market BOUNCED back, and picked up RIGHT where it left off... and continued UP as if the COVID shutdown never occurred. NOW. it seems to be defying gravity as Yield curves have inverted, and MANY economic indicators are telling us a recession id comming, BUT has not shown up yet... WELL, IT's being propped up temporarily while the TRILLIONS of $$$ of spending are working it's way

3)  EVERYTHING was RIGHT back to normal... and WOULD have continued... IF $4 Trillion of UNECESSARY Democrat spending would NOT, have been authorized... THAT Kick started INFLATION, which REQUIRED the Fed to RAISE RATES to control... and NOW is putting America in the position of, at 5%+ interest rates... spending TRILLIONS just to service the DEBT !!

YOU are trying to MUDDLE, and CONFUSE, with your "picking fly-**** out of pepper" BULL **** ! .. and why YOU were STILL WRONG with you assessment !   AND, Bottom line... IF Donald trump had remained President it's VERY LIKELY that Trump could have kept the economy on track... and America STRONG... NOW, Joe Biden has SCREWED it ALL UP... and he DOES NOT know how to fix it !!

Yea, except the liberal "tax cuts for the rich" was debunked by the IRS.
But don't let reality get int he way of another good liberal lie.

Biden has done nothing to help the poor and middle class.   Everything costs more, and inflation outpaced all gains in income.
People can't afford groceries and gasoline.   But somehow, liberals STILL claim Bidenomics is a success.
Stupid is, as stupid does.
