NOT Opinion... Its FACT !!maineman » 21 Aug 2023, 4:56 pm » wrote: ↑ It was an opinion piece. He OPINED that Trump did great things for the economy by CUTTING taxes for rich folks which EXPLODED the deficit because he didn't collect tax revenues that we needed to have (Trump wanted to rebuild a military that had been depleted by Democrats, HOWEVER, Obama and Biden just spent TRILLIONS of Dollars... and for WHAT?) , even though he had promised us he'd eliminate the debt, not expand it Biden raised the deficit as well, but he did so by helping the middle and bottom of the economy, certainly by spending money we didn't have (which nearly every president in my lifetime has done) but that money was spent to help people who NEEDED help, which is philosophically different than not taxing rich people who can certainly afford to be taxed. (MOST of the $3.5 Trillion that Biden spent, was for UN-Necessaty COVID spending, and other Democrat Spending priorities that included special interest groups, programs that have been around for 40 years and STILL have not fixed even ONE social concern, AND, MUCH of IT is diverted to CORRUPT organizations that line the pockets of RICH Democrat donors, and/or political advocacy groups)
If you ask me, I would much rather raise the deficit by spending and trying to help the little guy rather than by cutting taxes for the overwhelming benefit of the rich guys. (Democrat spending si LESS about helping the little gut, than to line th pockets of CORRUPT special interest groups, programs that have been around for 40 years and STILL have not fixed even ONE social concern, AND, MUCH of IT is diverted to CORRUPT organizations that line the pockets of RICH Democrat donors, and/or political advocacy groups)
two questions:ConservativeWave » 22 Aug 2023, 12:59 pm » wrote: ↑ NOT Opinion... Its FACT !!
Democrats accuse Republican of driving up the debt because they don't want to tax the American people... BUT, the the opposite end of that equation is DEMOCRATS spending like DRUNKEN SAILORS... WITHOUT having, and NOT CARING, that they have the tax revenue to support it ! ...MUCH of it FOR WASTEFUL PROGRAMS (i.e. special interest groups, programs that have been around for 40 years and STILL have NOT FIXED ONE social interest concern ( and endless toilet that Democrats FLUSH cash down), AND, MUCH of IT is diverted to CORRUPT organizations that line the pockets of RICH Democrat donors, or political advocacy groups)... and THEY DON'T CARE that it's ALL DEFICIT SPENDING !!
MOST Republicans would like NOTHING more than to spend within America's means... BUT, Democrats WILL NOT allow it !! THEY SPEND... DRIVE UP the debt ( NOW to $35 Trillion recently)... and CREATE inflation! THEN we have to NOT ONLY pay down the debt... we have to PAY the INTEREST on the debt (which will be CLOSE to $2 Trillion a year), and ALL of that is TOTALLY WASTED Money !!
LBJ and Jimmy Carter stoked inflation in the 1970's... and it took DRASTIC action by Paul Volker to correct it and get America BACK on the right track... NOW... we're BACK to OUT of control deficit spending... MOST of it JUST COMPLETELY UN NECESSARY and OUT of CONTROL spending by Democrats... for THINGS that HELP NO ONE... except themselves !! Yes, Republicans have spent too much also... Bush on the Gulf WAR, and Trump on rebuilding the military... BUT, if the two are weighed for the value to the American people... A STRONG National Defense, and a STRONG military in General... is worth MORE than the SIMPLE act of FLUSHING GOOD money AFTER BAD... RIGHT down a toilet !!
I TOLD you...maineman » 22 Aug 2023, 1:10 pm » wrote: ↑ two questions:

YOU seem to want to talk about BS when the REAL ISSUE is Joe Biden's MISTAKE, after Joe Biden MISTAKE, after Joe Biden MISTAKE, after Joe Biden MISTAKE... and YOU would like to IGNORE ALL that...

you wanna claim that Tump was some fiscal conservative who didn't spend like a drunken sailor... and you know that answering my two simple questions blows a GIANT hole in that idiotic argument. Run away yet again. ******.ConservativeWave » 22 Aug 2023, 6:10 pm » wrote: ↑ YOU seem to want to talk about BS when the REAL ISSUE is Biden MISTAKE, after Biden MISTAKE, after Biden MISTAKE, after Biden MISTAKE... and YOU would like to IGNORE that...
LIKE it or NOT, Joe Bidens HUGE and UNNECESSARY spending... $2.9 Trillion in March 2021that caused Inflation to JUMP, and THEN, $1.7 Trillion in November 2021 that caused inflation to EXPLODE, and THEN... ALMOST $6 Trillion in early 2022 ( the Green New Deal)... that LUCKILY the most Conservative Democrat REMAINING in the Democrat Party (Joe Manchin)... KNEW it was a disaster and voted against it... OTHERWISE we night have been looking at inflation close to 20%!
YOU WOULD like to ignore that... BUT I DON'T... Call me WHATEVER you like... I want to talk about FACTS, and TRUTH... NOT the way YOU would LIKE it to be... BUT, the WAY IT IS !
SO.. SCREW YOU and the ****** HORSE you road in on !!
Donald Trump REBUILT the Military after the Democrats IGNORED it for 8 years... Modernized some of America's infrastructure, and TRIED to build the southern Border Wall... Trumps Debt - $19.95 trillion in 2009 to $27.76 trillion in 2020...a 39% increase jump in the Federal debt, on spending that was ESSENTIAL to the Safety and well being of American Citizens...maineman » 22 Aug 2023, 6:18 pm » wrote: ↑ you wanna claim that Tump was some fiscal conservative who didn't spend like a drunken sailor... and you know that answering my two simple questions blows a GIANT hole in that idiotic argument. Here are the two questions again. Both questions only require a numerical answer.ConservativeWave » 24 Aug 2023, 11:20 am » wrote: ↑ Donald Trump REBUILT the Military after the Democrats IGNORED it for 8 years... ALL the Democrats did under Obama and Biden was to Spend TRILLIONS on UN- Needed, and UN Necessary spending and programs...Obamas Debt - $7.5 trillion in 2009 to $19.95 trillion in 2016... $12.45 trillion, and MORE than Doubled the Federal Debt... MUCH of it due to his attempt to SOCIALIZE healthcare... with the "Affordable Care Act"... THAT is what Barack Obama thought was important... AND, Joe Biden spent $1.9 trillion on the American COVID Rescue Plan (when America had ALREADY been "rescued" from COVID)... 1.2 trillion more on Infrastructure, 1.0+ trillion on his executive actions, and $2.5 trillion JUST to pay the Interest on the DEBT... CLOSE to $10 Trillion, and he STILL REFUSES to reign in spending !!
Run away my *** !!... I have OTHER things to to than to SIT in front of my computer ALL DAY and Post BULL ****... SUFFICE to say when I do post it is the TRUTH, based on supported data... YOU? ...I DON'T KNOW where YOU get YOUR Bull **** !!
Yep, Trump spent WAY too much money. he spent like a drunken sailor and didn't bother to veto an appropriations bill until after he had been defeated in the 2020 election.
You asked about veto. Why does it matter when he did it?maineman » 24 Aug 2023, 6:59 pm » wrote: ↑ he spent like a drunken sailor and didn't bother to veto an appropriations bill until after he had been defeated in the 2020 election.
neither did Trump.golfboy » 24 Aug 2023, 6:51 pm » wrote: ↑ Yep, Trump spent WAY too much money. He should have told Pelosi to go **** herself.
Biden has no excuse.
did he ever veto one when he wasn't a lame duck?golfboy » 24 Aug 2023, 7:00 pm » wrote: ↑ You asked about veto. Why does it matter when he did it?
Did he ever propose a $6 Trillion budget?
So Trump shouldn't have kept the economy afloat?
What does that matter?
it serves to refute his claim of being a fiscal conservative when he was anything but.
