This ain’t whistling Dixie.:)

Georgia is an infamously severe state to commit crimes in.

But until today most Democrats, and  surely I thought, that Georgia was going to be like the New York charges are, over some bull **** about hush money to harlots.

Trump made a stupid phone call looking for 11,000 votes in Georgia.   Big deal.  That’s not much time, if it’s even criminal.

But mother of God, nobody expected a RICO indictment of Trump and soon to be 18 witnesses against him.

And I didn’t know, there are no pardons in Georgia until they’ve let you out after your sentence for five years.

Remind me to always follow the laws, when I’m in Georgia.:)

Many of the 161 acts by Trump and his associates outlined in the Georgia indictment have already received widespread attention. That includes a Jan. 2, 2021, call in which Trump urged Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find” the 11,780 votes needed to overturn his election loss. That call, prosecutors said, violated a Georgia law against soliciting a public official to violate their oath.

******************************************

In one particularly brazen episode, it also outlines a plot involving one of his lawyers to access voting machines in a rural Georgia county and steal data from a voting machine company.

Georgia had to pass a lot of laws before the Yankees would let them back into Congress and hold elections.

Let’s say in 1872 the KKK wanted to file a slate of “alternative Klan electors” instead of the real electors in the Archives?

That law would have prevented it.
Just add it to the many voting laws and regulations waived for covid19 emergency circumstances.

You can't.  Because democrats committed fraud.
false.  No fraud has been proven.

I can prove he lost Georgia because the state submitted a slate of electors for Biden.  If Trump had won, that wouldn't have happened!

And none of those waived laws gave any specific advantage to any party.  Republicans chose not to pivot their GOTV efforts to maximize the easier, less harried, safer mail-in balloting that  Election Officials put in place to protect public health during a deadly global pandemic.  Even Trump is now calling for maximum use of mail-in ballots going forward.  A day late and a dollar short, as they say. ;)

The terrorist riots of 2029 and the pandemic made voting by mail appealing. Voting by mail is prone to fraud and manipulation. We should limit mail in voting to the disabled and military deployed.
