The high-profile investigation, led by Fulton County District Attorney Fani T. Willis (D), is widely expected to result in multiple charges for several defendants — including Trump and several close associates.

No jubilation here, from me.
Georgia has a grudge against Trump.
The fool almost certainly lost Georgia because he urged Republicans to not vote early.
Then when he lost Georgia, they counted the votes three times, and he lost three times.
His call to the Georgia Secretary of State was unethical, immoral and wrong.
But how could he corruptly influence an official when the election was long over, done, and closed?
Don’t confuse Fulton Georgia with Trump having false Georgia electors. He’s guilty beyond doubt of that, and that’s the Washington DC federal case.
The issue is should one prosecutor in one county in Georgia have the power to put a former President in a Georgia prison for the rest of his life when he made a phone call from Washington DC.Taipan » 14 Aug 2023, 9:14 pm » wrote: ↑ Millions & millions of No I.D. Mail-in Ballots.
Never been done before.
Is that how to turn an election to your favor ?
By cheating ??
Do Dems have 81 million registered voters ?? (no, I don't think that they do).
And ballot harvesting... not to mention, the tracking of people leaving Stacy Abrams offices and going directly to drop boxes, over and over.Taipan » 14 Aug 2023, 9:14 pm » wrote: ↑ Millions & millions of No I.D. Mail-in Ballots.

Georgia is one of the three states whose governor does not have the authority to grant clemency, although the governor retains indirect influence by virtue of his power to appoint board members.golfboy » 14 Aug 2023, 9:40 pm » wrote: ↑ And ballot harvesting... not to mention, the tracking of people leaving Stacy Abrams offices and going directly to drop boxes, over and over.
What were THEY doing?
The board of Pardons could be a good thing, because Kemp wouldn't have any say.Bruce » 14 Aug 2023, 9:51 pm » wrote: ↑ Georgia is one of the three states whose governor does not have the authority to grant clemency, although the governor retains indirect influence by virtue of his power to appoint board members.

If convicted Trump must serve his sentence in Georgia.
Five years of good conduct after his release, Trump can petition the Georgia Board of Pardons for a pardon.

To qualify for a Pardon for offenses other than sex offenses which require you to be listed on Georgia's Sex Offender Registry: You must have completed all sentence(s) at least five (5) years prior to applying. You must have lived a law-abiding life during the five (5) years prior to applying.

Geezus.
I’m not a Trump fan, but he should now seek a deal in all four cases.
Otherwise he will die in a Georgia prison.

The 18 others will all make deals.
They can’t be pardoned, even if Trump wins.
They’ll have to serve every day of their sentence in Georgia.

The President of the USA cannot pardon him for Georgia crimes.
No stay of office applies.
The GOP has to make Trump ineligible now to be nominated.
He’s been indicted with 18 others in a 41 count indictment that includes forgery of electoral votes, which he undoubtedly did, no question.

The Fox News business plan must consider the Donald is going to die in a Georgia prison.
Like the gangster he is.
