Store owner killed in dispute over displaying Pride flag: Police (msn.com)

A California clothing store owner and designer was killed by a gunman who confronted her about a rainbow Pride flag outside her business and shot her after making disparaging remarks about the display, according to police. Laura Ann Carleton was a married mother of nine children. The suspected killer, who has not been publicly identified, fled the crime scene on foot, but was found by sheriff's deputies near Carleton's store, where he was fatally shot in a confrontation, authorities said. The sheriff's office said the assailant was armed with a handgun and refused orders to drop the weapon. "When deputies attempted to contact the suspect, a lethal force encounter occurred and the suspect was pronounced deceased," according to a statement from the sheriff's office. No deputies were injured during the incident. Carleton was gunned down outside her store around 5 p.m. on Friday, according to the sheriff's office.
"Lauri did not identify as LGBTQ+ but spent her time helping & advocating for everyone in the community," a local homo said. "She will be truly missed." The shooting came amid a rise in anti-LGBTQ+ extremism across the nation that has led to protests, threats and violence against the community. A report this year by the Anti-Defamation League and the LGBTQ+ organization GLAAD shows there were more than 350 incidents of harassment, vandalism or assault from June 2022 to April 2023, which the report says coincides with an increase in rhetoric and legislation targeting the LGBTQ+ community.

It’s not necessary.

74 million Americans voted for Donald Trump.

They see a pride flag like a Jew sees a swastika.

Faults flag

Actually we should be able to fly any flag we want in the USA and have a reasonable expectation that everyone else will respect our god given right to free speech.
Problem is the cCANCEL CULTURE / PROGRESSIVES have already destroyed this expectation and now it is time for all of them to sleep with one eye open for the rest of their miserable...MAGA HATING LIVES .

As a child I watched my parents recoil in horror at a member of our church becoming a Wallace supporter.

My father explained Sherman was in WW 2 and formed a bad opinion of ******, which accounted for him not being a proper Republican and voting for Richard Nixon.

I lived through the sixties race riots and it’s not worth it to promote the pride flag.

The Pride flag costs Democrats votes every time it waves.

Racists and bigots are made, not born.

All the Pride flag breeds is more bigots.

But then! The last two years.... Since the Biden Admin is shoving them down everyone's throats!

And people don't like it being shoved down our throats- beer boycott
The normal gays go about their bidness- working and living  etc....

And the FREAKS get put on tv- in political positions as a tokens
wearing their freak womans make up

Even today Fox News occasionally will run a piece where they accuse the killers of Matthew Shepard of being gay or somehow claim a gay man crucified on a barbed wire fence wasn’t crucified on a barbed wire fence, but a split rail fence.

To expect people who were only a few years ago, stone cold sociopathic gay haters to accept liberal male  transgenders is not realistic, for at least 25 more years.

But liberal men who become women are over the line.

and this didn't happen overnight.... 

        No one really gave a damn if the Gays & Lesbos wanted to get married and be left alone..... But what began as a movement of limited aims has morphed into an aggressive, militant, invasive deviant agenda into every part of our institutions, society & culture..  There is a world of difference between being Gay --- and being Gay and IN YOUR FACE.. 

        Their numbers are not great, but the power & influence that has been given them by their supporters, the MSM, and elected Officials on the Left has  has put them into a position where others are forced to capitulate to their demands --- or face consequences... The grave mistake people (especially the parents of school kids) are making is thinking politicians & government  are going to step in with the solution --- when these are the people largely complicit in causing the problem.

             I'm always amused when the Left goes on & on about those awful anti-Gay folks ---- when there are huge numbers of people who do not approve of Homosexuality and the Gay lifestyle, nor the Drag Queen / Tranny agenda within the Democrat Party.. Here are 4 large Voting Blocks in this country, where large segments of such groups fall into such category... If folks like yourself and others on the Left are there to take on those who hold anti-gay sentiments, you ought to start within your own Party.... Clearly they exist in large numbers there... You only make yourselves look like hypocrites giving them a total pass because they Vote the same as you do.

It is true that old blacks, old Hispanics, and especially old Catholics are not that fond of gays, and if you’d grown up dodging priests it’s not hard to understand why.

When I was in college there was free beer at the Newman House every Friday night and the only catch was Father Mike ran the tapper.

I never was that hard up for free beer I’d want to get that close to Father Mike, but those Catholic boys were good at keeping him back, and must have had lots of practice at it.
