Private jets are commercial planes.  They must file flight plans.  They have IFF transponders so they won’t get shot down.  They are controlled in the English language even in Russia.

Shooting one down is international terrorism.

But think what happened.

North of Moscow is NOT a war zone.

There are four huge airports in Moscow, it’s a major hub.

That plane was assigned to Moscow AT control.

It was visible on Flight Radar around the world because it squawked.
