WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump has declared that he has the “absolute right” to issue a pardon to himself. Yet the law is much murkier than his confidence suggests. No president has attempted to pardon himself while in office, so if Trump tries to do so in the next six weeks, he will be venturing into legally untested territory without clear guidance from the Constitution or from judges. Legal experts are divided on an inherently ambiguous question that was left vague by the Founding Fathers and has never had to be definitively resolved in court.
What if he doesn't need to pardon himself because he is cleared of all the bogus **** charges...OH, you think they got him now?  LOL!!!

The charges are trying to make political speech illegal.  Braindead biden is too goddamn demented and stupid to do anything to Trump. Trump's persecution is coming from deep state apparatchiks that fear Trump so much they **** in their pants.  It is goddamn sure political when one side is trying tto eliminate the other side because of their political speech.

The goddamn documents **** is a mute point because braindead biden and pence stole classified documents when they were not POTUS and had no legal right to.  They just folded when they got caught.  THEY BROKE THE LAW!!!  Trump was POTUS!!!

Arresting people simply because they say the elections are rigged is a really good way to convince people that elections are rigged.

Conspiracy charges, by their very nature, include communication. But on the second page of the federal indictment, in the third enumerated paragraph, the prosecution attempts to make clear that Trump is not being prosecuted for his repeated lies about a stolen election. He is being prosecuted for the efforts he made and the actions he took to operationalize his desire to overturn the election. Conspiracy is the communication between two or more people that indicates the intention to commit a crime. The indictment is grounded in the long-standing constitutional principle that simply because speech or communication is part of a transaction does not automatically imbue the transaction with constitutional protection. The First Amendment does not and was never intended to protect criminal activity or all behaviors intended to communicate.

the very fact that he  said he would  it is proof that he would.

case closed.

if someone said he would kill you if you cross the line and you don't cross the line and he does not kill you, what does that prove? does it prove he would not kill you if you crossed the line?

the constitution does not say a president can pardon himself. the writers took it for granted that no one would elect a convicted criminal and so they did not mention it. but obviously they did not envision the brain dead voters of today.

With their useless degrees they are to a large degree dependent on some sort of government work...or as "HR REPS" at civilian companies that need to fill those equally worthless and non productive  positions..
These people produce NOTHING of any enduring or tangible value to our society.

Trump has support of millions yet Dems cannot get 10 people to show up for anything. Then all of a sudden they manage to get millions of votes out of nowhere. WTF.

Donald Trump and the Fake GOP have become broken records = nothing new in the last 40 years, always whining, never working together with moderates and consistently leaving behind a wrecked economy.

Yes a broken record.

Hard to say how history will judge. We can be sure that history hasn't been kind to Russiagate and we don't even have 50 years of perspective yet.

Trump does draw people to him.. rallies, speeches, interviews, etc. As for myself.. you would have had to pay me to watch this. Mainly because I spend my nights largely doing stuff other than watching TV.

**** me, the world has gone crazy. Never thought I'd live to see the day that Democrats would use toy dolls to relate to their constituents and that also doesn't say much for the intelligence of the constituents.

We are the silent majority Nixon referred to.

Only a half of one per cent of us are transgender.

We don’t go to rallies and scream hateful stuff.

It's hilarious how liberals regurgitate this crap.

Liberals are scared of Trump.
They should be.
