Russia's dirty little secret - - the Russian people have a long history of cannibalism. For the recorded history of the Russian people, there have been more incidents of Russians eating human flesh than the Mangbeto ****** of Africa.
Several years ago, the headless, limbless body of a man fell out of St. Petersburg resident, Yegor Komarov, Mitsubishi. While Mr. Komarov admitted to eating the majority of the man's "meaty parts", others are believed to have participated in the ritual eating of the dead man's flesh.
Then there is Russia's "Cannibal Island". Over 6,000 people were deposited from barges on a small deserted island on the River Ob near the village of Nazino in Siberia. They were supposed to stay there temporarily, while problems that arose with accommodation at the labor camps, which had turned out to be not ready to accept such a large number of new residents, were resolved. The first cases of cannibalism on Nazinsky Island took place on the tenth day after the deportees had been dumped there. Russian gangs and criminals have long practiced cannibalism, and the government was simply depositing "fresh meat", i.e. live humans, for slaughter and cuisine for these hardened Russian criminals.
There was the incident in 2019 wherea 51 year old Russian man and his wife were engaging in routine cannibalism. Three mostly eaten murder victims were identified with other animal remains, but it was suspected that there were over 10 other human victims who were eaten by the couple through out the years, the remains of whom could not be identified.
There are thousands, perhaps tens of thousands of accounts of ritual cannibalism all across Russia. Apparently, it is an un-spoken, accepted practice to eat human flesh in Russia that goes back possibly thousands of years.
More recently, Russian forces have recruited a large number of cannibals, along with other prisoners, to fight in Ukraine amid losses. The news comes as Ukraine's forces liberated formerly Russian-held territories in a counterattack over recent weeks. Ukraine has also spoken of its victories and the alleged losses it forced Russia to take in the counteroffensive.
