This just in.  New sales numbers for Bud Light in the U.S. show the brand continue to falter.   The troubled Anheuser-Busch InBev brand's sales tumble while newly crowned leader Modelo Especial is increasing its lead.

I kept meaning to try Modelo. Have you had it?

Yeah.  I don't like it.  Bitter tasting to me.  I am a happy Yuengling Light guy now. That's my go-to beer. I also like Miller Light, but prefer Yuengling Light over it.  Not much for Coors either - always had a funky taste to me.

I hate light beers. Lite beers are for *** and taste like watery ****.

I like a Russian triple stout on nitro, or a good scotch ale beer. I’m

I have never tried Yuengling. I'll give it a shot.

I tried it years ago and didn't care for it. Corona is much better IMHO.

On the rare occasion I have a beer now I like a fuller bodied flavorful brew... neither of which most main stream imports and domestics are anymore.

Modelo is what I classify as a lake beer. Something you would load the cooler full of just to have some cold to drink on a hot day at the lake.

:D

Whatever.  I don't drink beer to impress other men, like you do.  I drink beer because 1) I'm thirsty and 2) I like it.  Some Russian tripple stout on nitro ain't gonna quench my thirst after I've been working outside in the heat.  Probably more likely to taste like dirt and make me **** my brains out.

Yes, I keep all of my glass beer mugs in the freezer too!!!

It's got more flavor than Ultra or Bud light.  If I had to compare it to something, maybe Amstel Light. I really like that beer.   ****, all this beer talking is making me thirsty for one....

Oh, and if no one has figured this out - I like light beers.  That's my thing, so if you DON'T like light beers, then you probably won't like the beers I typically drink.  I actually used to drink Bud Light and Ultra.  It's not like I drank Guinness and hated Bud Light anyway.

I like good beers slightly above room temperature. Really brings the flavor out and they’re meant to be served that way. Freezing your tongue kills the taste buds which is required to stomach fake **** watery beer, try drinking that malaise near room temperature and one vomits 👍

Have you had any luck finding the Yuengling Golden Pilsner?

It's almost like a halfway point between the light and the regular lager, with just a little more hop to it.

It's a great thirst quencher.

It's 98 degrees outside.  Why the F- would I want to drink beer at room temperature?  That's like drinking hot tea in a hot-tub in Miami.  Real Beer is meant to quench your thirst.  Not swish around in your mouth at room temperature like some fine wine.

I used to drink **** watery tasteless beer to quench my thirst too. I certainly understand that. Once you get past the thirst quenching part (1 beer) and wanted more, that’s where the repulsion really starts.

Pabst is one of several beers I drank in High School that I will never drink again.  Here's my list of high school beer that I will likely never return to:
  • Pabst
  • Busch and Busch Light
  • Micky's Big Mouth
  • Hamm's (I drank this awful stuff at a nasty titty bar when I was 19 - that's all they had, tasted spoiled and it made me sick as a dog)
  • Carling's Black Label

My father-in-law drinks Stella.  It's ok - would drink it with him.

Light beer is for MAGAS.

Can you believe those pussies drank a third of Bud Light production?

Have a Pabst, Stag, or Schlitz.

It won’t hurt more than a little jab in you arm, I promise.:)

Hmm, I haven't really looked.   I might have to pick up a 6-pack just to try it.
