  • Pabst
  • Busch and Busch Light
  • Micky's Big Mouth
  • Hamm's (I drank this awful stuff at a nasty titty bar when I was 19 - that's all they had, tasted spoiled and it made me sick as a dog)
  • Carling's Black Label
I’m a teetotaler at heart.

But I’m raising three kids, all grown now.

Last year before deer camp, I overheard my son tell a friend they needed to buy a 12 pack of Michelob Ultra because all the old man keeps in the refrigerator down there is Pabst  Blue Ribbon and it’s two years old.

When I looked in the fridge it was actually three years old.

Did you know beer kept at 36 degrees will stay good a decade?

I offered the boys a Pabst and they passed.

I drank one and said Ahhhh

This stuff really ages well.

You boys go over to camp and I’ll catch up with you later on.

I waited long enough for the stories to get thick and I arrived with a half pint bottle of Jim Beam Black, I got to visiting with neighbors and left the bottle over there, with one drink out of the top of the neck, and no cap.

I’m mighty careless some times.

Which is probably why you keep a 12 pack of it in the fridge at all times.

For the queers and little girls.

If you keep it refrigerated, I suppose it would keep. But, beer will spoil.  I'm pretty sure that Hamm's I had was spoiled.  It tasted something like barely carbonated, rancid butter-popcorn. That's probably why the scummy titty-bar was selling it cheap (don't even ask me about the one naked dancer in this ****-hole).  Other than that, there was that coors that had been sitting in my Dad's hot garage for years.  I tried one of those and spit it out.  Definitely went bad.

It’s for young people.

Us old men grew up on Pabst, Hamm’s Schiltz and Stag.

Sweet tea tastes a whole lot better, but what kind of old man drinks tea at deer camp, among the boys,

I don't care what you like or drink. I just don't support any company pushing woke or Tranny ****. If you are a pedophile drink Bud light.

Typical liberal and Democrat.  You care what others think about what you shoot, what you drink, where you live and what you drive.
  • I drink light beer.
  • My carry gun is a **** Diamondback DB9
  • I drive an old 4-door Wrangler
  • I live in the woods.
  • Oh, and if your wife comes around, I'll teach her how a real man uses his cock to please a woman. :D

I've had a continuously replenished rack of Bud heavies on the bottom shelf of my fridge for decades.

Bud is the only beer I drink when at home... until the sun slides down over the yardarm, and then I switch to tequila on the rocks.   ;)

It’s only been about twenty years ago an old man at a camp ground taught me to keep the fridge at 36 instead of 40 degrees.

If you do that often your beer has little ice crystals in the bottom.

He’d made a fortune in selling beer, one six pack at a time, with a sign above his cooler that read

TOO COLD TO HOLD BEER

As he told me at the breweries trainloads of grain come in one side and the grain becomes hog slop and the product is marketed to lonesome people who want friends. The label tells their status to others.

I’d known most of that all my life, but I didn’t know 5% beer keeps indefinitely if it’s too cold to hold.

Sing one Porter!

The beer I like is 7-8 to 14 percent ABV.

If the beer you like needs to so cold, thereby deadening your taste buds, then you don’t like beer to begin with.

That’s not far wrong.

My parents never drank a drop, never had it in the house, and my Daddy evicted a renter named Chris we all just loved because Chris got drunk in front of me just one time, only,

To old time Christians beer itself wasn’t sinful.

Selling any kind of booze at all for profit was close to an unforgivable sin.

So I acquired a taste for Pabst on the sly.

I like the New Belgium Imperial IPA at 9%. They have a Juicy IPA that at 7.5 I think. I usually get the 20oz cans.
