- Pabst
- Busch and Busch Light
- Micky's Big Mouth
- Hamm's (I drank this awful stuff at a nasty titty bar when I was 19 - that's all they had, tasted spoiled and it made me sick as a dog)
- Carling's Black Label
Which is probably why you keep a 12 pack of it in the fridge at all times.maineman » 29 Aug 2023, 2:15 pm » wrote: ↑ any light beer is for girls and queers as far as I am concerned.
If you keep it refrigerated, I suppose it would keep. But, beer will spoil. I'm pretty sure that Hamm's I had was spoiled. It tasted something like barely carbonated, rancid butter-popcorn. That's probably why the scummy titty-bar was selling it cheap (don't even ask me about the one naked dancer in this ****-hole). Other than that, there was that coors that had been sitting in my Dad's hot garage for years. I tried one of those and spit it out. Definitely went bad.Bruce » 29 Aug 2023, 2:09 pm » wrote: ↑ I’m a teetotaler at heart.
But I’m raising three kids, all grown now.
Last year before deer camp, I overheard my son tell a friend they needed to buy a 12 pack of Michelob Ultra because all the old man keeps in the refrigerator down there is Pabst Blue Ribbon and it’s two years old.
When I looked in the fridge it was actually three years old.
Did you know beer kept at 36 degrees will stay good a decade?
I offered the boys a Pabst and they passed.
I drank one and said Ahhhh
This stuff really ages well.
You boys go over to camp and I’ll catch up with you later on.
I waited long enough for the stories to get thick and I arrived with a half pint bottle of Jim Beam Black, I got to visiting with neighbors and left the bottle over there, with one drink out of the top of the neck, and no cap.
I’m mighty careless some times.
It’s for young people.RedheadedStranger » 29 Aug 2023, 2:17 pm » wrote: ↑ Which is probably why you keep a 12 pack of it in the fridge at all times.
For the queers and little girls.
Typical liberal and Democrat. You care what others think about what you shoot, what you drink, where you live and what you drive.maineman » 29 Aug 2023, 2:15 pm » wrote: ↑ any light beer is for girls and queers as far as I am concerned.
If you drink warm beer that ain't clear, you're a damn Yankee.Tempest62 » 29 Aug 2023, 3:17 pm » wrote: ↑ The beer I like is 7-8 to 14 percent ABV.
If the beer you like needs to so cold, thereby deadening your taste buds, then you don’t like beer to begin with.
That’s not far wrong.Tempest62 » 29 Aug 2023, 3:17 pm » wrote: ↑ The beer I like is 7-8 to 14 percent ABV.

I like the New Belgium Imperial IPA at 9%. They have a Juicy IPA that at 7.5 I think. I usually get the 20oz cans.Tempest62 » 29 Aug 2023, 3:17 pm » wrote: ↑ The beer I like is 7-8 to 14 percent ABV.
