Blair did not learn that her granddaughter had been identified as a boy at school until she found a hall pass one day with the student's alternative name on it. The teenager eventually confessed to her guardian. The grandmother assured Sage they would resolve the issue in the morning, and the teenager did not need to return to school the next day. The high school freshman ran away from home on Aug. 25, 2021. The lawsuit states that an adult male later abducted and raped her. The girl was taken across state lines to Washington, D.C., and Maryland, where she was reportedly drugged, held captive and raped by multiple men.

If Granny had just let the school system raise her granddaughter without protest, then this would have never happened.
You people are some kind of twisted.

My father’s mother died when I was two, but if Mammy walked through the door today I’d recognize her instantly. She told me true stories of my father’s father and his father before him, who rode with the 12th Missouri United States Volunteer Cavalry, and chased Nathaniel Bedford Forrest at the Battle of Nashville, and charged Roman Nose at Broadus, Montana.

My mother’s mother lived to see me graduate college and I was a pall bearer at her funeral at age 22 of the most famous writer in the Ozarks.
I’m her literary executor and answer her fan mail and attend functions and tell stories about driving Ma Bruce to book signings.
I’ve loved girls since I was old enough to have a pretty girl slap me for looking at another pretty girl too long, when I was still a child.
But if I’d been an orphan with only Ma Bruce as my only champion she’d have set me up with boys as soon as she set me up with young girls who wanted to meet her grandson.
I used to take her and a girlfriend out on picnics and Ma Bruce had only one rule.
She never smoked in public but I had to keep her supplied in Winston cigarettes.
She developed a taste for Winstons because of all the free cartons the producers and directors of the Beverly Hillbillies used to mail her for free, hoping she’d write Winstons into the Ma and Pa weekly columns she wrote for The Index.

I can’t even imagine being Trumpy.
I was privileged beyond price to have my Grandma Bruce coin the slogan
Tis a privilege to live in the Ozarks
She even taught me Tommy’s Doll

The 14-year-old was placed in a group home for boys. At the home, the lawsuit claims the teen was "told by Khan that her parents no longer wanted her and that Khan was going to arrange for [her] to live with a family in Maryland who would affirm her as a boy." Khan is accused of telling the girl to lie that her guardians were abusive so the public defender could "win the case."

To my rear two miles was the Flemington High School.
But there was a cop sometimes in Flemington.
In front of me there were only four miles to Grandma Bruce, who I knew would take me in, defend me, feed me, make me coffee, and never tell my mother.
Back then I could lope four miles without stopping to rest.
It was about two in the morning when she opened the door and said get inside before the neighbors see you!
Johnny came in about thirty minutes and towed my Vega two miles short of my home and I knocked on the door at three thirty am.
Mama answered the door with a shotgun, and I yelled
MAMA DON’T SHOOT ME!
(If I came home after midnight Mama would stand behind the door with a shotgun and say “My son said he’d be home by midnight.)
She finally opened the door and I said I was visiting Grandma and you know how she tells stories and we looked up and it was three o’clock, and there’s something wrong with my car again, it only made it to the Rosebud School House, and quit.
Mama almost started crying and said if you can not wreck that car come the holiday break I’ll help you buy a better one.
I didn’t let Mama pay $700 for my Matador X Coupe, I paid it myself.
But Grandma Bruce was my first passenger and I gave her an entire carton of Winstons.
My Grandma HELPED ME when I needed help.
They ought to hang that old bitch upside down.

I try really hard to not hate mother **** who can read a horrible story about a child’s own flesh and blood grandmother blabbing to the entire god damned world the entire sordid story of how because she couldn’t accept that child as God made that child, the child turned to prostitution, and not join my hatred of Granny.
In the Ma and Pa series the series Saydee (my mother) has an un named husband, who was my father.

I only had one grandmother Emma, who I visited for 7 weeks with my mother...a quiet war torn woman from what I remember...Bruce » 01 Sep 2023, 11:37 am » wrote: ↑ I try really hard to not hate mother **** who can read a horrible story about a child’s own flesh and blood grandmother blabbing to the entire god damned world the entire sordid story of how because she couldn’t accept that child as God made that child, the child turned to prostitution, and not join my hatred of Granny.
Words just fail.
I never pass the graves of my grandmothers without dropping a single red rose.
Your grandmother is supposed to protect you against all the world, like mine did.
