Khan is accused of telling the girl to lie that her guardians were abusive so the public defender could "win the case."

I’ve loved girls since I was old enough to have a pretty girl slap me for looking at another pretty girl too long, when I was still a child.

But if I’d been an orphan with only Ma Bruce as my only champion she’d have set me up with boys as soon as she set me up with young girls who wanted to meet her grandson.

I used to take her and a girlfriend out on picnics and Ma Bruce had only one rule.

I’d busted a u joint on my Vega at a most embarrassing place, the local quarter mile unofficial drag strip for all us kids.

To my rear  two miles was the Flemington High School.

But there was a cop sometimes in Flemington.

In front of me there were only four miles to Grandma Bruce, who I knew would take me in, defend me, feed me, make me coffee, and never tell my mother.

Back then I could lope four miles without stopping to rest.

It was about two in the morning when she opened the door and said get inside before the neighbors see you!

Johnny came in about thirty minutes and towed my Vega two miles short of my home and I knocked on the door at three thirty am.

Mama answered the door with a shotgun, and I yelled 

MAMA DON’T SHOOT ME!

(If I came home after midnight Mama would stand behind the door with a shotgun and say “My son said he’d be home by midnight. )

She finally opened the door and I said I was visiting Grandma and you know how she tells stories and we looked up and it was three o’clock, and there’s something wrong with my car again, it only made it to the Rosebud School House, and quit.

Mama almost started crying and said if you can not wreck that car come the holiday break I’ll help you buy a better one.


I didn’t let Mama pay $700 for my Matador X Coupe, I paid it myself.

But Grandma Bruce was my first passenger and I gave her an entire carton of Winstons.

My Grandma HELPED ME when I needed help.

Hit television shows pay writers by the hour or by the show and they don’t pay royalties to famous writers.

My Grandma Bruce became so famous writing a humorous hillbilly parody series by the weekly column for The Index from the week she got married in 1919 until by 1962 the Beverly Hillbillies television show completely appropriated Pa (Jed Clampett) Ma (Granny) Sy Thomas (Jethro Bodine) and Saydee (Donna Douglas as Miss Ellie Mae Clampett)

I am Saydee’s young un from a half mile south of Bug Tussle. In the Ma and Pa series the series Saydee (my mother) has an un named husband, who was my father.

The Index threatened a law suit but because The Index owned 100% rights to the entire Ma and Pa series, and in 1963 some righteous lawyer somewhere made up a settlement where the Beverly Hillbillies show would pay $400 advance for my Grandma’s book copywrited ONLY in Grandma’s name not even Pa’s, and after the book was published I tell you’uns nothin’ but the truth, prosperity and happiness shown down on Ma Bruce the rest of her born days.

And the show kept sending Pa cartons of Winston cigarettes the entire run.

So that’s why I hate the **** out of grandmothers that betray their grandchildren.

My Grandma made me her literary executor.

My mother...to a minimal point...being my father died when I was 14, I took it upon myself to become a self made street smart man who took care of his mother until she remarried 2 weeks before my 18th birthday...then she moved away...
