As new variants surface and hospitalizations increase, some experts are questioning if it's time to mask up again. Scientists from the American Council on Science and Health have warned that the virus is capable of mutating "at lightning speed," making a "late summer surge" very possible. According to a recent poll from Gallup, public confidence in the US healthcare system dropped from 44 percent last year to 34 percent this year - making experts question how many people would actually comply if masks were recommended again Dr. Anthony Fauci, former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, said to CNN: "I am concerned that people will not abide by recommendations."
Fauci added: "When you have a situation where the volume of cases in society gets to a reasonably high level, particularly the vulnerable - those who are elderly and those with underlying conditions - are going to be more susceptible...and it will lead to hospitalizations. Hey, you go use ivermectin if you want to.

A hundred years from now graduate students are  going to wonder why a major political party not only refused to  wear masks, but even refused the vaccinations.

They seemed to be more obsessed over who used the correct rest room than staying alive.
