But it requires a grand jury indictment

IIRC, the gun charge had to do with lying on a form 4473 - i.e. answering the question that he is not addicted to drugs.  Yeah, that's a dumb charge.  Heck, most of the questions on the 4473 are dumb.

By promising political favors within the U.S.  Like supporting Ukraine politically in the wake of Russian aggression.  Or, buy simply buying favor with American Taxpayer dollars.  How much money and equipment has the Biden Administration given Ukraine?  How much money was promised to Ukraine by the Obama administration?  Remember when Trump threatened to hold back money that was promised to Ukraine by Obama-Biden?  Got him impeached.

My prediction is if Hunter ever winds up in court, the DOJ will make a "mistake" that causes a dismissal of the charges.
