more of a college football fan than pro. However, still it is good that it is football season finally. My teams (Boise State and Nevada) are not doing well this year and so how it goes. Still going to attend two games (one home and one away).

A lot of MAGA types (some on this forum) said that the NFL would die after the kneeling issue. Well.. ratings are back and the league is doing fine. It is the number one pro sports league in North America in terms of ratings and revenues.. and it is not even close.

The claim is that them kneeling in the past would result in the NFL ceasing to exist as of now. The claim that the NFL put the stop to it is false. Nevada vs. Kansas - Going to be at this game. My prediction is Kansas 66 - Nevada 3. Going to get ugly.
California vs. Idaho - The Vandals could pull this one off. I do not predict this to be the case. My prediction is Cal 21 - Idaho 14.
Texas vs. Wyoming - Wyoming will lose but Craig Bohl has this team ready for a special year. Texas 42 - Wyoming 24.

If I was going to bet this game.. I would go with Tennessee but in a close win. Something like 27-24 or 31-27. Florida is in good shape but going to take a few games to get the QB situation ironed out. 

Next week.. the big storyline in college football is going to be if Colorado can beat Oregon in Eugene. If you want to know how big Colorado football has become.. Colorado vs. Nebraska outdid Texas vs. Alabama in ratings last week. Colorado's schedule lines up nicely for them being the biggest story of the year

Week 4: at Oregon
Week 5. USC(home)

week 8: at UCLA
week 9: oregon state (home)
week 10: Arizona (home)
week 11: at Washington State
week 12: at Utah

6 of the 7 games are against ranked team. This is going to bring ratings and attention to games that for the past decade have been nothing burgers.

Well.. was a bit off on the first one but my intution was correct on the second two. U of Idaho was competitive against Cal. As always when FCS plays a power 5 team.. they get beat in the trenches. As for Texas- Wyoming.. this was a fairly close game even the score does not indicate. With Texas leading 10-7... Wyoming had the ball deep in TX territory and settled for a field goal. I know armchair qb and all but if the QB goes to the right and not the left.. the WR was wide open. Not going to say that they win but the score would have been more like 31-20 instead of 31-10. 

Quick predictions.. OR beats Colorado, WY beats Appalachian State (and later plays for MWC championship), and NM State wins 8 games this year.
