This is the complete list of "weapons" that all brainwashed and effeminately raised and easily terrified little Queer Bitches with ZERO STREET SMARTS have been told could have overthrown the US Government.........'Armed insurrection': What weapons did the Capitol rioters carry? | Washington Examinerrazoo » 11 Sep 2023, 4:24 am » wrote: ↑ There are many over and above Trump that this portion of the Constitution will impact. Sorry. Not only will Trump be on the ballot? He will win in a landslide in 2024.razoo » 11 Sep 2023, 4:24 am » wrote: ↑ There are many over and above Trump that this portion of the Constitution will impact. Those framers also understood that the United States could face future insurrections. Trump’s attempt to reverse an election was precisely the moment for which that provision was designed.
Beyond protecting our democracy from the particular risks Donald Trump poses, enforcing this provision ensures our democracy’s vitality going forward.
This constitutional provision is not a punishment, it is a qualification. Just as a 30-year-old cannot serve as president, neither can someone who engaged in insurrection.

As a result 100's have been charged with crimes and sentenced, so many have been indicted, Trump indicted 4 times, Trump facing 91 charges, white house appointees indicted the list is long.
14th Amendment Article 3 does not require a court opinion as it is written in easy to understand language. 14th Amendment Article 3 does not require charges. Participation was viewed world wide which is all that is necessary.

aka......Gay Bowel Syndrome. The anal sphincter muscle was never intended to be abused the way mentally aberrant Sodomites do. In fact Mother Nature has made it so the vast majority of male queers become GENETIC DEAD ENDS....

nice dodge.
Not a dodge at all. Besides, who said President of the United States was NOT an Office of the United States (other than you)?

All your RWNJ buddies who claim the 14th does not apply to Trump... @golfboy comes to mind.ConsRule » 11 Sep 2023, 8:58 am » wrote: ↑ Not a dodge at all. Besides, who said President of the United States was NOT an Office of the United States (other than you)?
I have never said it wouldn't apply to Trump. However, just because a bunch of liberals in Op-Eds say he's not eligible, doesn't mean he's not eligible. There has not been a single entity, with criminal investigative authority, to look into the events of Jan 6 and call it an insurrection. There have been a grand total of ZERO people charged with insurrection related to Jan 6. You cannot take away a Constitutional right just because you don't like someone and are scared he will win an election.maineman » 11 Sep 2023, 10:35 am » wrote: ↑ All your RWNJ buddies who claim the 14th does not apply to Trump... @golfboy comes to mind.
Link to HIM saying that?maineman » 11 Sep 2023, 10:35 am » wrote: ↑ All your RWNJ buddies who claim the 14th does not apply to Trump... @golfboy comes to mind.
Sedition carries a stiffer penalty than insurrection, btw. And the 14th talks about insurrection OR REBELLION against, not the United States itself, but rebellion against its Constitution. You don't think that January 6th was a rebellion to stop a constitutionally mandated transfer of power?ConsRule » 11 Sep 2023, 10:41 am » wrote: ↑ I have never said it wouldn't apply to Trump. I think his belief is exactly that, that the president is not an "OFFICER of the United States". And he would not be alone in that interpretation. I am sure he read an article such as this to get that spin:ConsRule » 11 Sep 2023, 10:43 am » wrote: ↑ Link to HIM saying that?
My bet would be he said the 14th Amendment doesn't apply because there was no insurrection...not that President isn't an officer of the United States. Of course, you wouldn't be smart enough to actually read the words he posted and understand them.
I know for a fact it wasn't. There was never going to be a transfer of power on January 6. Trump was going to be President that day, regardless of what happened inside the Capital That day, someone was going to be declared the winner of the Presidential election. Until Congress finished their work that day, nobody had been elected President for the term beginning at noon on January 20, 2021. Just because idiot liberals, and their lackies in the media, say differently doesn't make it true.maineman » 11 Sep 2023, 11:08 am » wrote: ↑ Sedition carries a stiffer penalty than insurrection, btw.
