For anyone else who shares the same interest in DOOM & GLOOM there is a whole series of books written by G. Michael Hopf that are outstanding.
I'm not much of a reader of novels but I found these books to be hard to put down long enough to give my eyes a rest.
Amazon.com : g michael hopf books

We have a year to go before this next election... There is NOTHING these clowns wont try- to HOLD onto power?
They do NOT care!
Can't you just tell me what to do? LOLGHETTOBLASTER » 14 Sep 2023, 1:59 pm » wrote: ↑ Cyndi...the book series written by G Michael Hopf is best read in the proper order. Hopf has a little bit of Insider Knowledge with his military background and so the chain of events that he put into writing is very imaginative and very believable.
The TV series "THE LAST SHIP" is a good look at a post SHTF USA too.
Well these books are meant for entertainment more so than advice.sootedupCyndi » 14 Sep 2023, 2:11 pm » wrote: ↑ Can't you just tell me what to do? LOLThat would be easier than making me read?

Pure horse ****. What makes land desirable in the first **** place is proximity to people. Removing people lessens desirability.GHETTOBLASTER » 14 Sep 2023, 1:17 pm » wrote: ↑ They'll inherit a situation with much less competition for the most desirable land.

In a SHTF situation I want wide open land with a 360 degree view of all approaches.Cannonpointer » 14 Sep 2023, 5:50 pm » wrote: ↑ Pure horse ****. What makes land desirable in the first **** place is proximity to people. Removing people lessens desirability.
Google it, for **** sake, and get a clue. Your leftist misanthrope narrative was THOROUGHLY debunked - you just lacked the sense to notice. You thought repeating your thesis after it was debunked rescued it - but if you google a bit, you will learn that's not really how things work.
To defeat the counter arguments to any thesis, even NON-retarded, NON-Soros-inspired ones, you have to address, rather than simply ignore, those arguments.
It takes a village to raise an idiot, son.GHETTOBLASTER » 14 Sep 2023, 8:37 pm » wrote: ↑ In a SHTF situation I want wide open land with a 360 degree view of all approaches.
I want a setting that's easy to defend and will make bad guys think twice before spending the calories or else risking their lives to pay me a visit.
I want to be able to see at least a mile in all directions
I want to be able to say that I live more than a tank full of gas from the nearest large population.
I want land that will feed cattle, horses and support as much wild game as possible.
Having 1/2 the people than what we have right now fighting for basic survival resources in 2100 lessens my exposure to unwanted human contact and of course makes the fight for resources much easier to win..
First of all..a SHTF situation means that government and the economy has collapsed and here you are saying that "More people in that situation is better...Cannonpointer » 14 Sep 2023, 10:11 pm » wrote: ↑ It takes a village to raise an idiot, son.
It takes a village to defend a village, too.
You talk about "spending calories." That is the concern of a fellow who lives in a world of not enough. That mentality is what makes you delirious enough to believe there are "too many people," in spite of all the evidence to the contrary.
The greater earth's human population has become, the more surplus it has produced and the more it has reduced poverty to pockets rather than continents. Your leftist, Soros-adjacent **** is illogical, indefensible, anti-science and anti-Christian. It's also widely believed with a cult like devotion that simply has no room to hear counter-evidence.
Yours is the mainstream narrative - peddled by the same people who peddle the climate cult and the gender cult.
My God.You are the one embracing a martial attitude about it, talking about defensible positions.GHETTOBLASTER » 15 Sep 2023, 12:31 am » wrote: ↑ First of all..a SHTF situation means that government and the economy has collapsed and here you are saying that "More people in that situation is better...![]()
I was raised by my grandmother who was born in 1907. And AGAIN, you find yourself so cornered by your stupid narrative that you have to try to squeegee the topic into race rather than what it is REALLY about, which is people. I guess you're pretty desperate to separate yourself from the leftist scum whose ideas you are parroting. Soros would not approve of your mention of race.GHETTOBLASTER » 15 Sep 2023, 12:31 am » wrote: ↑ The only way to keep your vision of a 1 BILLION USA running is with a bigger government than you could ever imagine.
Your 1 Billion USA in the year 2100 will be 250 MM Whites ...250 MM Blacks...250 MM Browns...250 MM Asians and others.
sounds wonderful....My God.

Pretty sure a hundred guns beats two or three, there, Mensa...
Nor would I. I have my bug in well stocked and my plans for SHTF in place.GHETTOBLASTER » 15 Sep 2023, 7:37 pm » wrote: ↑ This thread is about the collapse of humanity 2100
6 weeks into any SHTF Scenario there won't be many roving bands of 100 guns like it's the second coming of General Santa Anna.....![]()
How ridiculous.
You won't find bands of roving pirates any larger than what a pick up truck or 2 can carry..[that is until the gasoline supply is gone].
The main roads will be extremely dangerous to travel.
If you can't just shelter in place and live off of what you got..too bad.
At about the 2 week mark is when about 1/2 the population will be forced into either begging or else taking by force whatever they need from neighbors.
I sure wouldn't want to live anywhere near your beloved "Sea of Humanity" when SHTF Day arrives.
Wow what insight, average age of posters here is what 50 or older. It is 2023. safe prediction.
