I don't have to like how the population reduction is accomplished in order to like the results.
I'm the same way about legal abortion...the prospect of having a 100MM ******, 300MM White Liberals and 100MM Browns running around is far worse than allowing them to have all the tax payer funded abortions that  their hearts desire.
A future USA with 100MM people instead of 335MM won't deprive anyone of anything they don't already enjoy.
Home values will fall back to what a place to live should actually cost. 
Commutes times will be cut in half.
People should be able to work fewer hours to make ends meet.
Robots will have replaced most of the skilled and unskilled labor.
Unemployment rates could reach 25% ......fewer people creates a housing surplus, which  will take pressure off of an overburdened welfare system.
 

If the democrats win in 2024 it will happen way earlier than that

I have a feeling you are going to find out exactly how pollyanna your view of this fantasy-future is. Mass casualty events have a way of **** supply chains - and whatever fantasies you have of off grid life are likely far more rosy than thorny. The reality will be far more thorny than rosy.

Repetitive, transactional work like what you find in a warehouse, distribution center, and/or manufacturing will be the first to go. After that.. repetitive cognitive work such as payroll, accounting, auditing, data entry, data processing, etc. Not sure what new jobs will come about when those are fully automated.

• Technicians who repair bullet-holes in smart-*** robots
• Call centers focused on scamming AI bots
• Cum-cleaners and health inspectors for sex-bots
• Shoe Shine Boy - no one wants a robot shining their shoes.
• Bot-Bashers
• Stupid people with blue hair and nose rings - yeah, even a bot isn't that stupid.
• Professional protesters.
• Human testers for Robot makeup
• Organ donor
• Proctologist and Gynecologists. Nobody wants steel fingers in their sensitive areas.
• Lawyers - they will make sure they still have jobs, I don't know how, but they will.
• Used car salesman
