My 5 generation gap event horizon scale. pink and blue are symbolic of male and female results of original 16 great great grandparents. 3rd generation of 4 grandparents created the center vertical axis where the replacements of their previous 4 generation gaps arrived with the potential to repeat or not what took place so far every generation gap ever happened since inception of this species and development of 5 basic ancestral lineages limited by geographical locations on continental divides before ancestries trained animals to provide transportation of goods and services over land as rivers, lakes, seas, oceans took lumber to create rafts and ships.
I understand why context over content did what it has done, I get to make life easier for all everyone has to contribute some biological time to make social logistics work supply and demand finished products every family needs every generation.

Did you notice the 16 great great grandparents to 8 great grandparents made 4 vertical parallel generation gaps where 5 exist to one horizontal plane in the middle 3 generation gaps living spontaneously unique simultaneously here.

It is why the future is always open ended possibilities of next generation or not for each replacement here. I am not making up theories or theologies of anything else did or does it.

I try to read both their posts

But they both have a way to make my eyes roll, and I move on

One gets all folksy and talks religion

The other goes all … five generations of here now

Both feel the need to fill their posts with fluff

Mostly repeating themselves

I do engage once in a while

I am an admitted rock music aficionado but do not have one group that I worship at the altar of like what you describe. I have encountered folks that take love of an artist/band too far and I just wonder if they are just filling a void. Spending all that time and money to scratch the same itch over and over again... seems pointless.

I worship Pink Floyd. And yes, I am filling a void...a void darker than the dark side of the moon.

They are not my favorite but Pink Floyd - Learning to Fly was the start of my current rock music obsession. I was 8 or 9 and did not who it was. All I knew is that I heard this song on the radio and it was amazing. Took me months in that dark time before the internet to find out who it was and such. If I would have been born earlier on in the time continuum.. I would have went out of my way to see them.
