Well, "my type" probably hired well over 100 minorities over the years in businesses myself, so you clearly can't know what I can "fathom" and what I can't!  And (probably) without realizing it, YOU (not me) just provided an example of how government hires are viewed by other businessmen, didn't you?  What you accuse me of is most often how an affirmative action program casts it's recipients into a negative light, whether they were hired under such a quota system or not, and THAT is why everyone else (minorities included) look down at the person when they deal with one, especially if they're seen to be incompetent or lazy at their job!  Or haven't you ever seen that take place at your local post office or DMV station?  And no, it's not fair but it IS a fact that's due SOLELY to the theory of affirmative action policies (and NOT what you consider a bigoted or a racist reactions by others) regardless of how belligerent and defensive an insider like you gets when you encounter it in the real world.

Or is it that you believe Biden's appointment of a press secretary, his choice for Deputy in the Dept. of Energy Briton or his nomination of assistant secretary Rachel Levine of HHS were all ALSO based solely on merit, while simultaneously inventing laws that are intended to put people in jail for failing to address someone with their preferred pronouns, or dare to object to the perfectly valid objection of biological females for being forced to share rest rooms, showers, and locker rooms with biological men!

What's going to stop organized shoplifters from taking down the city owned grocery stores? Since it's going to be tax payer funded they don't have to worry about profits but they will have to worry about huge losses and violence.
