"Safe and Effective" is a legal designation awarded patent medicines AFTER they have gone through specific trials and tabulated the resulting data. The fact that the legal designation uses adjectives does not make it up for grabs by any goober with an "opinion," *** wipe.

I stand by that statement. Any unclarity to the contrary inferred from the link (a hastily and perfunctorily googled task I ought never to have been required to undertake and only performed out of exasperation), it is a FACT that the FDA, and ONLY the FDA, determines that a drug is safe and effective. Any agent of any company claiming a patent medicine if safe and effective is using a legal term, and if they are lying, it is a felony. Likewise, any government agent who calls a patent medicine safe and effective is a liar, if the FDA has not granted the patent medicine that legal designation.

It is also a FACT that the law requires some very particular things before the FDA can apply that LEGAL TERM to a patent medicine. Among the requirements are a certain number of broadly based, double blind placebo-included studies of the medicine. The data gathered from these studies must then be tabulated and presented to the FDA in a very particular format. These actions take time - up to eight years, in fact. You can google this.

The time that these things take is longer than a program called Operation Warp Speed allows, which is why - and you can google this - the "EUA" was used and abused, with Trump's sine-qua-non assistance.

"EUA" stands for "Emergency Use Authorization." This is another LEGAL DESIGNATION that is quite distinct from "Safe and Effective." I recommend you google "EUA" - you will learn a great deal about what actually occurred. You will learn that if the patent holders have not had the time (6 to 8 years, typically) to run the trials required by law for the FDA to grant the "Safe and Effective" LEGAL DESIGNATION, said patent holders can be allowed to murder us with their product under the EMERGENCY USE AUTHORIZATION. The EUA was created so that terminal patients with a death sentence disease could make hail-mary attempts at a cure. It was never, ever intended for unlawfully mandated, widespread distribution of experimental patent medicines. Such was hitherto unthinkable in a post-Mengele world. 

The fact that we were cajoled and gaslighted by government and press to participate in a medical experiment is a crime against humanity under our Constitution, due to treaties we have signed. These same treaties are the basis of the international laws enforced by the world court in the Hague, Netherlands, and they are so clear and unambiguous that a caveman could read then. I've posted them in the past, but I'm not going to do so right now, as the exasperation to which I parenthetically alluded earlier is not only unabated by this explanation, but exacerbated by its necessity.
