I, personally, had some issues with the Right Wing Creationists being in charge of the education in some schools, but I just said that if the local people didn't like it, they could vote in a new school board at the next election. Sometimes they voted the school board out, and sometimes they didn't. Either way the local people made their decisions about what they wanted for their schools.
Their school; their choice.

The author of the OP is an obsessed one-trick-pony who is pretty obviously projecting about this subject that consumes him, along with many others here. Fortunately, it does not consume me. I am much more concerned with the dysfunctionality of Congress and the MAGA moron’s willingness to attempt a second insurrection when Trump gets trounced for the second time.

My mother was a school teacher and for a few years was the elementary school principal in her career.
First, no men should ever be hired as elementary school teachers. There is a gear loose somewhere in a man who likes anybody else’s little kids for more than a few minutes.
No elementary school principal should be anything but a woman teacher with at least a decades experience.
If school boards all did that like they used to do that there wouldn’t be headlines they hired a famous local drag Queen who turned out to have kiddie porn charges dismissed on a technicality.
If you laid awake nights trying to come up with something to discredit the public schools I can’t imagine anything worse than this.

Any parent sending their kid there is absolutely in an agreement that their time and leisure are more important than their child's innocence and wellbeing.
