I saw a video (I think it was in Japan) where they had water cannons that shot dye with the water...than the coppers could pick out the troublemakers.  I wonder why that is not used more often.

Not even black Trump supporters would get away with rioting. It requires a sympathetic media to achieve and conservative media would never carry water for it. Even if he was convicted, they would riot and loot anyway. They would get pissed at the sentencing. They just like rioting and looting. Nothing more.
