when it comes to my taxes, it is those “OTHER people” that I would rather support with it

And if I say I pay enough already into the Government Trough (maybe too much), do I have a valid reason to bitch about those other people taking while I always put in?
There as many blatantly obvious lazy slobs as there are truly needy. Maybe more.
They have given up trying to feel useful and having any purpose in life. And proud of it in many cases.
I'm not sorry for those pricks at all. No empathy from me for the army of assholes in that ilk.

I don't know about that.
Just acknowledging that lots of people are going to abuse something ahead of time seems practical. How do we manage that? Seems a fair question if you're pushing a revamp to the system of that magnitude.

Why aren't there more "Enlightened  Progressives" like you  flooding into Kenya to take advantage of the tremendous health care system and all of the fantastic real estate values and business opportunities that exist in that "wonderfully vibrant and culturally enriched" place to live...?

Biden's deliberately inflationary policies are also a "tax burden" let's not forget.

I don't think "quick" is a way to change any big system. People have to plan and ease into or away from things. One size does not fit all.

Bammycare was a great example of ****-the-people. They had a window of opportunity to ram legislation through. A 1,000 page bill that nobody read. That bill had 30,000 pages of supporting documentation. Which absolutely nobody read. There was no emergency except that the window (Democratic control of congress) was sure to close soon. THAT was the emergency. Not a **** thing to do with the people. **** that lying prick.

Medicare for All won't be the panacea you think it will be. Medicare as it is right now is marginal.
Multiplying "marginal" doesn't make it get better.

Is there any entity bigger and badder than the Military Industrial Complex? No.
But there's one that damned close. Medical/Healthcare Entity. Good luck getting them on our side.
