You remember from history the term "Town cryers". Persons running around reporting events everyone else is doing so they can feel important to everyone not paying attention to other people just adapting in time as each ancestor has to do in real time.

That was amazing, fat granny should have been a shoe-in, no one expected Trump to win, the problem was that they started to believe their own propaganda and forgot to make sure.. My distaste at Trump's stance against the Central Park Five comes from in-depth discussions with my older sister who is and was a NYC college professor at the time.  My disgust at Trump's desecration of Christian sacraments came from discussions with my ex-pat Bible Study group in Mexico.  NONE of those positions had ANYTHING to do with the media coverage of those events.

I do not routinely read ANY MSM sources and instead, rely heavily on the AP, Reuters, and the BBC.  The only broadcast news coverage I ever watch with any regularity is the PBS News Hour which is always ranked as one of the most unbiased news sources available.

If Trump were a Democrat, not only would I not defend him, more importantly, I would not vote for him.  I have, on occasion, voted for a presidential candidate other than the Democrat when my party's candidate had taken an action that I was deeply disappointed in.  I will do so in a heartbeat in the future.

Now.... one last time:  if you would like to continue discussing issues with me (my two years with the UN in the middle east might very well afford us the opportunity to delve into current bellicose events with some insightful specificity, for example), you will first need to walk back your slanderous remarks about my integrity.  The alternative is to put you on ignore, as I have done to a handful of other folks on here who can't meet minimum standards of civility.  Your call.
