I'm not a y'all - and no, I do not subscribe to that as a uniform principle. Everything is contextual.

A fellow who refuses to condemn murder - who by sleazy language furthers it, in fact - has no business demanding of another any oaths against it. I am reminded of the PREPOSTEROUS demand, intended for humiliation and intended to prevent productive discourse, that the pali's "acknowledge israel's right to exist." Most of the asswipes on this board think that is a PERFECTLY legitimate demand for a nation to make of its victims in order to speak with them about the things it does to them.

I don't.

Our settlers were almost as brutal as israel's - but even THEY did not force OUR palestinians to say we had a right to their land before sitting them down at a table and hearing their concerns and lying to them some more.

Well, I'd have to see the quote before I would comment on the quote. IMO, he is likely simply reacting to what he considers a dishonest question. I agree with his position on the question. It is dishonest.

For you to ask me to condemn atrocities on my side while you run false equivalencies and tell IMPLICIT ****-mouth lies in favor of the other side, while - worse yet - lying that you don't have a side (and still worse, likely believing your own lie that you don't have a side), is just **** insulting. And when people are insulted, they flame.
