I keep waiting to read exactly why they hate Jews so much, all I get is stories about how merciless the Jews are after their families have been massacred by the trogledytes.

They can hate who they want to hate as far as I'm concerned... my issue is with them hating me because I don't hate the Joos with the same passion that they do... and because I referred to their brethren as "mudslimes".

That really got 'em fired up.

Actually, Hamas does quite a bit for the Gazans. They bring in money from wealthy countries and foreigners to pay for infrastructure, construction projects, etc. Of course, much of that infrastructure is militant in nature, but not all of it. They bring a lot of money into that region.
Hamas clearly has access to lots of funding and outside resources because they have plenty of armament to kill Joos, but just what do they do to better the lives of their people? Absolutely nothing that I can tell... yet they blame the Joos for their pitiful existence.
It's not that simple. They do economically support the Palestinians living in Gaza.  There used to be more information about this on the web.  Hard to find in the wake of what's going on now.

I'm not talking about international aid that is distributed outside of Hamas' control, but funds that land directly in Hamas' hand from the jump.

How much of that money goes back into helping the Palestinians?

And no, building "infrastructure" is not expanding the tunnel system into Israel with the purpose of attacking and killing women and children.

One of my mom's favorite sayings anytime I got in front of the TV was "Your daddy wasn't a glass maker!"

I never understood what she meant until I was 11 or 12.

I am no fan of Hamas, but they do spend money on the citizens of Gaza; or should I say they control how money is spent on Gazans. This is why they are not unpopular among Gaza Palestinians.

My statement that Hamas spends money on Gazans has nothing to do with whether they are "swell fellows" or not.  If Hamas were total ****-heads to their Gazan countrymen, they wouldn't last very long. There's a reason that many Palestinians embrace and support Hamas.

I remember when the Remote Control was Dad barking at us to get up and change the channel dial on the TV...

Another TV time memory was my 3 brothers and I forming the human chain, with one holding the TV Antenna, as Dad would guide our positioning in the room so the reception would tune in better and he could watch his programming.

Did the Democrat Bitch Madeline Albright say the "Death" of 500,000 Iraqi children as result of Sanctions imposed on the Saddam Regime after after the Gulf War would be worth it?  --- you bet.

Did 500,000 Iraqi children actually die as result of the sanctions? ---- No, not even remotely close.. This 500,000 number came from a survey compiled by Unicef, in conjunction with the Saddam Regime's Ministry of Health..... The methodology of the study was greatly flawed, and thoroughly disproven ---- in fact, there was little  change at all in Iraq's Infant Mortality Rate after the Sanctions had been imposed after the Gulf War...

People also forget how Saddam manipulated the "Oil for Food Program", where Iraq was permitted to sell Oil on the Market to raise cash for humanitarian needs of their people..... $2 Billion was diverted from such purpose to build additional Presidential Palaces for Saddam ( he had over 80 of them) , and another $1 Billion was sent to Palestinians to help fund the Intifada.

Estimates of deaths due to sanctionsEstimates of excess deaths during the sanctions vary widely, use different methodologies and cover different time frames The figure of 500,000 child deaths was for a long period widely cited, but recent research has shown that that figure was the
result of survey data manipulated by the Saddam Hussein regime.

. When Sarah Zaidi, one of the study's coauthors, carried out follow-up surveys in 1996 and 1997 with Jordanian interviewers, "many of the deaths were not confirmed in the reinterviews. Moreover, it emerged that some miscarriages and stillbirths had been wrongly classified as child deaths in 1995."The child mortality rate suggested by Zaidi's 1996 survey (38 per 1000) was less than one-fifth that of the 1995 figure (206 per 1000).  Zaidi remained concerned about humanitarian conditions in Iraq, but forthrightly acknowledged a problem of replication,[9] hypothesizing at the time that "an accurate estimate of child mortality in Iraq probably lies between the two surveys." She later told Michael Spagat: "My guess is that 'some' Iraqi surveyors recorded deaths when they did not take place or the child had died outside the time frame but they specified the opposite."

2017 study in The BMJ described "the rigging of the 1999 Unicef survey" as "an especially masterful fraud".   The three comprehensive surveys (using full birth histories) that have been conducted since 2003—namely, the 2004 Iraq Living Conditions Survey (ILCS), which was initially discounted by the Volcker Committee for finding far fewer child deaths than expected, and the Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) carried out by UNICEF and Iraq's Ministry of Health (MOH) in 2006 and again in 2011—all found that the child mortality rate in the period 1995–2000 was approximately 40 per 1000, which means that there was no major rise in child mortality in Iraq after sanctions were implemented.   As a corollary,
