I doubt Jordan will ever get the votes to be Speaker.  Republicans need to go into caucus and settle on someone they can agree on...McCarthy, Jordan and Scalise are never getting elected.  Time to quit living in a fantasy world and elect a **** Speaker.  This group of idiots appears to be firmly committed to one thing...snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Only persons able to do that are the population in their representing district. I cannot vote for other than the ones representing where I geographically exist.

Every representative elected believes they have to lead those voting for them so they end up not representing ancestries but ideologies.

by the way, aren't you trying to prevent others from thinking on what they wished possible tomorrow? Dictatorships and democracies defend tomorrow from results happening today repeating all the mistakes happened yesterday each generation gap forward as people defend their rights defying why they exist as ancestrally positioned now..

As a Republican, I can donate to their campaigns.  I can be an advocate for good politicians outside of my district.  DEMOCRATS DO THIS ALL THE TIME.  So, sorry you are so lame, but with you being lame is par for the course.

NO ONE is going to get the republican speakership. No one CAN, because there are not enough republican votes, and the democ rats won't cross the party line.

We will likely end up with a democ rat speaker. A democ rat CAN win, because they vote as one ***, and it only takes - what? Five repukes to cross the line? ****, I could broker that deal. I wouldn't, but I could.

Rep. Mike Turner (R-Ohio) said Sunday if House Republicans cannot elect a Speaker soon then a “deal will have to be done” with Democrats in order to get the chamber running again, as it nears two weeks since Rep. Kevin McCarthy’s (R-Calif.) historic ousting.

Asked on CBS News’s “Face the Nation” if there is a possible alternative scenario in which Republicans will need to work with Democrats to find a “mutually acceptable Speaker,” Turner responded that while he prefers a Republican solution to electing a Speaker and supports Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), a few hard-line GOP members may force a bipartisan deal.

So far, its a possibility.  I think the Republicans will elect a speaker.  But, we shall see.  I will remember that we "heard it here first".

I won't donate to anyone's campaign. I pay them by my vote. they never represent my opinion, just protect everyone's right to believe life isn't self evident.

I don't know what is wrong with ANY on this list of Republicans, other than they are BUTT-HURT over not being able to retain the Speaker they wanted.  They need a good knock to the head to remind them that they are there WORKING FOR WE, THE PEOPLE, and not for their own petty ambitions.

Here's the deal.  I like team-players.  I hate assholes who F-up the team.  Gaetz is one of those assholes who is on my ****-list, but so is every obstructionist Republican on that list too.
